A longer episode as we go through the Draft, as well as some early signings and trades. The bulk of the episode focuses on grading the Canes themselves including both the regular and post season.
If you disagree with us, let us know! What do you think we got wrong on this one?
We do a little bit about the Cup Finals, talk about some of the rumors floating around out there, and just have a good time talking hockey on Father's Day.
Welcome Coach Ryan (certified by Hockey Canada) from the HotGarbageSports YouTube channel to join us and talk some puck. If there is 1 episode to listen to this season make it this one, this guy know his stuff. And if you can't listen, at least do yourself a favor and check out his YouTube channel for great and fair hockey analysis, even for the Canes. Coach Ryan brings the knowledge of the game from a national level, but without the big market bias. He's our #1 YouTube hockey follow.
The Canes are now down 0-3 in the ECF again, and have only one a single period through those 3 games.
As always, Ray and I will be tough but fair in our thoughts, but this one is going to start the process of taking an honest look at what is happening in this series. If you're unsure now is a good time mentally for this one, feel free to skip and move on to game 4.
Our post-season analysis will probably be starting next week when we welcome on Coach Ryan from Hot Garbage Sports.
We welcome Hayes Permar from The Rialto Theater this week! We talk about his Caniac journey, he knows more hockey than he lets on, Channel 8 parodies, potential ECF matchups and more.
And the quote of the week from Hayes is "We know how to fan!" Don't miss this one!
This was very late after the game so apologies on any quality issues. A quick look at games 4 and 5.
We could not be prouder of all the boys on the team, what an accomplishment to make their 3rd Conference Finals in 7 years.
A great episode today, as Ray and I go through the Canes /Caps series thus far (aside from me confusing Dowd and Carlson)
This is a regular length episode!
Recap Game 1 with Brad and Ray.
Something nice to say about the caps? What?!
Something nice to say about Burns? WHAT?!
Great game Canes and way to take back home ice
Brad and Ray look at series around the league, welcome back Freddie Andersen, and preview Canes vs Caps.
Welcome to Round 2
A quick recap of games 4 & 5, and a Storm Report on what is working for the Hurricanes!
Regular episode this week. We have Tracy from Texas, a Stankoven fan who still loves her Stars but is now also watching some Canes hockey. Thanks Stank!
We hear her story, do a little "new to the Canes Q&A", and talk a little game 4. This was a fun one!
StormCellar_s5_ep30_2_for_2
Brad and Ray go over what went right and what went wrong in game 2, and take a quick look at Game 3 in NJ.
A post game wrap-up from Round 1 Game 1 vs. the NJ Devils.
Overall a solid outing by the Canes, with mostly just minor tweaks before game 2.
Way to show off the Loudest House in the NHL to Alexander Nikishin Caniacs!
Nick from Canes Prospects joins us to talk Nikishin, the Canes new 21! He's signed & coming so everyone panic! (Just because it's fun)

Susan AKA the Canes Sign Lady joins us to talk about her story, some of the players she's met, her pre-game jumbotron time, amazing Canes signs and more!
Due to some technical difficulties, we were cut short with Jas so we'll have them back on another time if they'd like.
We also talked about magic numbers, goaltender interference (again), and how the playoff picture is shaking out.
2 of Ray's friends, and friends of the show (Greg and Shane) a couple of Red Wings fans who came on to tell us about their hockey fandoms, and we re-live a bit of the 2002 Stanley Cup Finals, do a little cross comparison of Steve Yzerman vs. Rod Brind'Amour, and play a game of METAR (Think Storm Report but with Red Wings terminology)
A lot of fun was had on this one!
