One of our values of our church community is story-telling, that we want to share our stories with one another. Often this happens during our Sunday gatherings, usually at baptisms but also during seasons like Lent and Advent, but sometimes a story comes our way that needs the space to breathe and be sat with. Someone from our community has one of those stories and as a result we wanted to find another way for her to share her story, which leads us to our podcast. We have a special episode of our church podcast where Matt sits down to hear her story of Sibling Sexual Abuse and the way that Jesus has been healing her. As a result of the topic there is a potential to be triggered, so there is a trigger warning that this conversation discusses sexual abuse and trauma so be aware of that before listening.
In the Conversation there are a number of resources referenced so here they are so that you can find them.
