Tuscazoar 100 Recap: Pickles, Puke, and Tears (My first 100 miler)
September 4th I started my first attempt at running 100 miles. 28 hours,51 minutes, 10,000 feet of elevation gain, one stress fracture, and a 6 hour rainstorm later….I finished. I really tried to make this video short but there’s too much to sum this up in 15-20 minutes. Especially since this is my first one, I wanted to hit all the details for something to look back on. Thank you to everyone for the kind messages and encouragement before and after the race. To end with, the Tuscazoar 100 is an incredible race run by amazing people and volunteers. Beautiful race ran well from start to finish and I really recommend this to any ultra runners out there looking for their next challenge.
