We've had a lot happen since coming back from the World Cup, and most of it's been pretty terrible. From allegations against Director of Football Fabio Paratici to the January transfer window (with no transfers) and injuries sustained during the World Cup, there's a whole lot of team news to cover. We also look at a tough streak of losses for the Tottenham Women's Team, and we cover the Men's team fixtures against Brentford, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Portsmouth, and of course Arsenal.
Woah. 6 games for the Men's team and 2 for the Women, it's been a crazy few weeks for Tottenham Hotspur anyway you slice it, as we head into the winter World Cup break! We cover winning the Champions League Group at the latest possible second thanks to results against Sporting Lisbon and Olympique Marseille, as well as Premier League games against Bournemouth, Liverpool, and Leeds United, and we sprinkle in the League Cup match against Nottingham Forest (because sprinkles are fun!). There's a...
It was a tough week for Tottenham Hotspur fans, with the Men's team suffering defeats at Manchester United and against Newcastle, while the Women's team also lost against Manchester City. We consider what went wrong, look for some silver linings, and step into the (now very necessary) Room for Improvement!
Blink and you'll have missed a crucial Tottenham Hotspur match! We blinked, and had to recap 5 games that Spurs have played (not to mention 3 Women's matches)! We look back on the dreadful North London Derby against Arsenal, both matches against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League, a trip to Brighton and a return home against Everton in the Premier League. There's still room for the Room for Improvement, and a look ahead to more travels as Spurs take on Manchester United this Wednesda...
What a crazy couple of games for Tottenham Hotspur! We suffered our first loss of the season at Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League, followed by a frenetic game at Leicester City in the Premier League. The latter of which saw (remarkably in just 13 minutes) one of the better hat tricks you'll ever see, by how else but Heung-Min Son! There was never a doubt he would start scoring again, and what a way to silence his critics! As always we step into the Room for Improvement, and then look ah...
We're back in the Champions League! And the Premier League games are coming thick and fast - we cover a trip to Nottingham Forest, as well as London derbies against West Ham and Fulham. Then Spurs played host to Olympique Marseilles in our Champions League opener. There's a lot to talk about, a lot of fun to be had, including looking ahead at the upcoming Women's Super League season. And Chelsea sacked their manager, Thomas Tuchel, so you know... that was fun.
It's been a crazy couple of weeks in the Premier League, and Tottenham have announced a new signing! There was also a newsworthy trip to Stanford Bridge to play London rivals Chelsea, under the tutelage of their coach Thomas Tuchel. The following weekend saw Spurs host Wolverhampton in a tense game as well, and a host of surprise results across the League. As always, we cover the happenings at Tottenham Hotspur Way, step into the Room for Improvement, and look ahead.
How is it that the Premier League has already started?!?! It snuck up on us but The Spurs Brothers are back for another season! We cover what has been a crazy summer transfer window as well as some other team news, and review Tottenham's season opener against Southampton!
We may be a bit late in posting our season finale, but it's never too late to look back an enjoy what was an incredible finish to the 2021/2022 season! COYS! We discuss our final match against Norwich City, consider Arsenal's collapse, and look back on how it was that Tottenham managed to qualify for the Champions League!
What a week for Tottenham Hotspur! While the Women's team wrapped up their WSL season with a win, the Men went to Anfield and got a result against one of the best teams in the world, Liverpool. We then had the North London Derby of all North London Derbies, as Spurs hosted Arsenal in a game that may very well decide who qualifies for Champions League football next season. Throw in a tough game against Burnley, and it was quite the week!!! We cover all of those games, as well as news around th...
There's a lot of news to cover for both the men's and women's teams, and we catch up on pivotal games against Brentford and Leicester City for the men. Looking ahead, it's a difficult trip to Anfield to face Liverpool before the North London Derby that may decide whether Tottenham or Arsenal will finish in 4th place and qualify for the Champions League next season.
Things were looking wonderfully for Tottenham Hotspur there for a moment! Wrapping up 4 wins in a row in the Premier League, getting back into that all-important 4th place position, moving ahead of Arsenal in the process... enter Brighton & Hove Albion! It's another week of ups and downs for Tottenham Hotspur as we come back from the international break. We'll cover those games against Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Brighton, as well as look around at what our rivals for the top 4 are up to....
Tottenham Hotspur have managed to record a couple wins in a row, for the first time in what feels like forever! My how the turn tables... this week we look back at the games against Manchester United (including, importantly, Cristiano Ronaldo), Brighton & Hove Albion, and our London rivals West Ham. As always, we step into the Room for Improvement and look ahead at the fixtures coming up after the current international break.
It's just been a crazy few weeks with Tottenham Hotspur, who have managed to beat one of the best teams in the world only to lose to a side in the second division. We cover the ups and downs that Spurs fans have had to endure as they played against Manchester City, Burnley, Leeds, Middlesbrough, and Everton. We also catch up with quite a bit of news from the Women's team, and as always consider the Room for Improvement and take a look ahead.
Tottenham Hotspur had 2 home games in the Premier League against teams lower down the table - an excellent time to pick up points! This week we cover the depressing losses to Southampton and Wolves, and try to imagine a team without injuries as we look ahead to a tough run of games away from home.
We have to say goodbye to one of our own (in our hearts, at least) with the end of the January transfer window. There's a lot of team news to cover, we catch up on some cup ties for the Women's team, and take a close look at the 4th Round FA Cup match between Tottenham and Brighton & Hove Albion, before stepping into the Room for Improvement and looking ahead to a busy January schedule.
It's been a rollercoaster two weeks for Tottenham Hotspur, with both the men's and women's teams have had mixed results. We'll focus on the men's exit from the League Cup Semi Final, as well as an absolutely thrilling day at the King Power Stadium against Leicester before a less than thrilling 3rd matchup against Chelsea in the Premier League. And of course, as we head towards the close of the January transfer window, there are rumors abound about who might be coming or going from of Hotspur ...
Despite the fact that Tottenham Hotspur have not played an English Premier League game this week, we still have 2 games to talk about! Spurs played Chelsea in the first leg of the League Cup Semifinal, and then hosted Morecambe FC in the FA Cup. There's a lot to go over and more to come as we look ahead to the rest of January.
It's a new year, is it a new Spurs? We have a lot to cover looking back at Spurs for the month of December, which started with a COVID outbreak at Hotspur Way and ended games against Liverpool, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Southampton, and Watford. January will be a crazy month as well, with so many unknowns regarding the transfer window and no fewer than 3 games against Chelsea!
