The Sports Grind 11/22/24 Hour 1: Browns Upset Steelers in Snow Bowl on Thursday Night Football. Cleveland Fan Has to Be Sick. The Justin Fields Package Made No Sense.

Last night kicked off Week 12 in the NFL, and it did so in style. The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers faced off in a “Snow Bowl” worthy of the AFC North days of old. That’s now two wins under the Jameis Winston experience after the team started 1-6 under Deshaun Watson, and Cleveland fan has to be sick over the lost season. On the Steelers’ side, Russell Wilson played a strong game and found his rhythm, only to have it interrupted by the Justin Fields gimmick packages that just made no sense at that time.

The Sports Grind 11/18/24 Hour 1: Streaming Services Are Officially on Notice After Friday Night’s Flub. Bills Hand Chiefs Their First Loss of the Season. Are the Steelers the Best in the AFC?

For all the hype, the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight got the attention it wanted and then some, just not maybe the *kind* of attention it wanted. While many felt shorted by the main event and Tyson’s loss, the viewers at home got the worst of it as Netflix struggled with overloaded servers, leading to constant buffering, officially putting streaming services on notice as they try to take over live events. After Netflix fumbled, the NFL picked up the weekend and ran with it, delivering a strong slate of action. The Buffalo Bills ended the perfect start of the Kansas City Chiefs while the Pittsburgh Steelers made their argument for the best in the AFC, taking down the Baltimore Ravens.
