EP. 66: The Spoonie Balance / Sarah, Advocate and Mom of Meadow and Her Heart Defects

It’s the final episode of Season 4 of SpoonFull of Strength! In this two-part episode, Rachel opens solo while Tina is out sick to share an honest conversation about finding the Spoonie Balance. She dives into the hard choices that come with putting your health first, the guilt and fear of letting others down, and the moment she realized she needed to step back from certain commitments.

In part two, Rachel and Tina sit down with Sarah Michelle Boes, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC—Founder of Sarah Michelle NP Reviews, Chief Nursing Officer at Blueprint Test Prep, and board member for Conquering CHD—to talk about her powerful journey of advocacy. Sarah shares how she received the life-changing news of her daughter Meadow’s heart condition just weeks before giving birth, and how that experience fuels her mission to improve care for children with congenital heart defects.

Stay tuned until the end of the episode for a special announcement that will change SpoonFull forever. Thank you for joining us throughout Season 4—we’re so grateful for this community and can’t wait to share even more inspiring stories and conversations going forward!
