Calum, David, and Enzo get together again following another short break to discuss two 0-0 draws which felt very different, along with everything else that's been going on at the club. We're also joined by A View From The Terrace and The Terrace podcast host Craig Telfer to chat about his thoughts on Queen's Park and the Championship in general, before moving on to our thoughts about this weekend's visit to Firhill.
Calum, David, and Enzo return following a week away to discuss Queen's Park picking up a point away to Dunfermline, followed up by a disastrous performance in Arbroath. We also discuss the looming injury crisis, all the news from around the club including Queen's Park Women progressing in the Scottish Cup, and our upcoming must win fixture this Saturday when Airdrie visit Lesser Hampden.
Calum, David, and Enzo are back with you once again to discuss two home games in four days against St. Johnstone and Partick Thistle, which returned a grand total of zero points. We also do the usual round up of everything else going on at Queen's Park, before looking ahead to the first of a few vital games when we visit Dunfermline and East End Park this coming weekend.
A full house at Spiders Talk HQ this week as David, Enzo, Calum and Gregor can't wait to discuss the first league win for Queen's Park since March following the 2-1 victory up in Dingwall. A quick look around the club as usual before previewing the next two opponents visiting Lesser Hampden, St Johnstone on Saturday and Partick Thistle on Tuesday.
With David off on his travels, Calum, Enzo, and Gregor sit down to discuss yet another draw for Queen's Park as they picked up a point at home against Morton. We also discuss the academy teams' results, Queen's Park Women winning again, and the sad passing of club legend Eddie Hunter, before discussing next weekend's trip to Dingwall.
In-between more holidays for the hosts of your favourite podcast David, Enzo and Gregor look back at the 1-1 draw vs Ayr, ahead to the visit of Morton to Lesser Hampden, and look around the club including the current winless streak, other QP teams results and the latest movement in the first team squad.
This week we review the 1-1 draw vs Airdrieonians as Calum and Enzo try to talk David down off the ledge of making some drastic squad changes. There's a look around the club including the latest results for QPW, QPSFC and the youth teams, and of course there is more off-field nonsense as two more committee members resign from the club. Finally, as always a look ahead to the next game, this time it is Ayr United away.
Defeat, resignation, pessimism, doubt. One day it will change, but until then David, Enzo and Calum will recap it all. An avoidable defeat vs Arbroath before QPFC club president Graeme Shields announced his departure due to "personal abuse" are covered in this week's episode. At least there's a free weekend before the next game, which is a trip to Airdrie.
The first league game signals the start of the season proper, so Calum, David and Enzo are back to review our first point earned of the season away to Raith. We discuss the season ahead for QP women and preview our first 'biggest match of of the season so far' v Arbroath.
The 25/26 Championship season begins this Friday, and that means the 25/26 podcasting season begins now! David, Enzo and Gregor are here mainly to look at each of our league opponents and what they've been up to this summer, but we also cover the positives & negatives from our brief Premier Sports League Cup campaign and guess the line-up for our first league game of the season away to Raith Rovers.
Apologies for the audio issues, this isn't our usual recording setup! David, Calum, Enzo and Gregor sit down together in person for a slightly unconventional review of the 2024/25 season. We also talk about a couple of bits of news from around Queen's Park, before moving on to our end of season awards - some good, others less so.
Enzo sits down with new Queen's Park manager Sean Crighton in this bonus episode, to discuss his new role and plans for the club as we move into the 2025/26 Championship season and beyond.
We are back for a deliberately hasty recap of our loss vs Raith before diving into some chat on new manager rumours, trying to figure out what our squad may look like next season, and a general discussion on the maddest league in Scotland, the Championship.
Another week and another draw to reflect on, with plenty going on for what on paper was a dead rubber in our 2-2 draw with Ayr United. In an otherwise quiet week David, Enzo and Calum give their votes on the QPSA Goal of the Season nominees before looking ahead, with some amount of fear, to what should be the final game of the season at home to a Raith Rovers needing a big win to try and secure the final playoff spot.
We are back once again, this time with a healthy dose of positivity, as we cover an improved performance against Hamilton, our newly bolstered league position (for now), and preview what is hopefully a relatively low-stakes game vs Ayr this coming weekend.
Tune in as we also announce an exciting giveaway for 2 lucky listeners!
Of all the weeks of "Queen's Parking" this season, the last one really takes the title as the most Queen's Parking of them all. David, Enzo and Calum try to make sense of two dismal defeats to Airdrie and Livingston, digest the news that Queen's Park is about to undergo a massive on & off field change yet again, and somehow look ahead to the first of four must-win games to end the season with Dunfermline at home on Saturday.
It's difficult to find the words to describe losing a national cup final 5-0, but David, Enzo and Calum do their best to find them, although the feeling is that what was served up on the park was an extension of the club off the park at this moment in time, and we're beginning to run out of patience. The only positives from the day itself were nothing to do with the actual squad, we touch on them before a rather pessimistic preview of an unbelievably massive game against Airdrie on Wednesday and a rematch with Livingston on Saturday.
David, Enzo and Calum dissect another dismal display as we fall 2-1 to Morton and edge ever closer to an end of season relegation battle.
We try to muster up something resembling positivity as we look ahead to the Trust Trophy final vs Livingston on Sunday, answering the big questions like whether it's correct to pre-emptively take Monday off work or not ahead of the game.
Enjoy!
Calum, David, and Enzo are back this week to briefly discuss the comfortable loss to Falkirk on Saturday, before getting into the big news; Callum Davidson has parted ways with Queen's Park. We share our thoughts on the big news, the wider issues at the club, and a few potential replacements, before moving on to our upcoming match this weekend away to Greenock Morton.
We're back in the trenches this week to discuss a trio of losses as we exit the Scottish cup, and fail to capitalise on 2 good opportunities in the league to pick up points.
Recruitment, managerial decisions, and sheer bad luck are all covered as we try to unpick what's going wrong, before looking ahead to a tricky game against Falkirk on Saturday.
Buckle up!
