The title says it all. This episode is an absolute rollercoaster that Dorr, Parker, and Dustin were stuck on. Things are going to get insane. You may come out of this with a few less brain cells.

We hit two firsts on this episode. The first one being we have our first Special Warefare Operator on the show, a member of the Army's elite Explosive Ordinance Disposal talks about her experiences. The second first is that this is our first episode after partnering with Stack Up, a charity that the team of The Smoke Pit back 110% 

It's not gay if you're trying not to freeze. We have a couple more basic training stories, but the rest of the episode is about what you'd expect.

The Smoke Pit coming in with the hard hitting questions on the first episode of 2022. Which also happens to be the first Core Team episode of the New Year. We cover more topics than the US largest pet disposal service, we cover the Golden Girls, that time Dorr went to DRB, and Admiral Yamamoto, not specifically in that order.

We have JakeTheArmyGuy  on today, and this former drill sergeant is funny as... can't finish that sentence, we'll get banned again. Anyway back to our regularly scheduled smoke pit stop on the way to the PX.

The first Core Team episode since Dustin caught the plague, he may have lost his ability to taste, smell, and breathe, but he hasn't lost his ability to irritate Parker into wanting to fight. This episode was a bit of a ride.

We bring a former F15 mechanic on the show, and we didn't think things through enough. We may have made some other commitments as well.

The moment that like 2 of you have been waiting for, we actually have the nuclear engineer that put a bullet in Dorr on the show. Then it gets really depraved from there. You have been warned.  Some boundaries were definitely crossed.

In this episode that features nothing but the core team, Dorr, Dustin, and Parker cover a variety of topics. Including some deeply buried cringe stored in the depths of Dorr's mind.

In traditional smoke pit fashion, when you throw two infantry Marines in the mix, weird conversations happen. Also since we recorded this on Halloween, the production was cursed to the point everything that could go wrong, did. I didn't know Murphy's Law applied to hauntings.

Lobstah and Sev bring Dirtbag Dustin to the show, a former US Army Artilleryman, things go from Zero to Unhinged in record time.

We have a new name and a new guest, a prior member of the Canadian Armed Forces. You might also learn part of Lobstah's name, and one of the 1000s of handles Sev goes by. There was zero QA going on here.

What do you get when you have to scramble to find guests for you podcast because your original guest couldn't make it? What happens if the only two people who could pop in short notice are a former Marine and a former Army 19K? You get the digital version of a smoke pit, nothing is on topic and people kept getting pulled away to take care of stuff. This was pure unadulterated chaos. 

Today's guest comes to us from the United States Coast Guard, which thanks to the addition of the Space Force has earned a seat at the table of the military. They are the FNG no more, even though they're older than the Air Force.

Today's guest is an In-flight Refueling Specialists in the Air Force, this is probably our most on topic episode to date. Which means that some afterlife punishment must have froze over.

Today's guest is a member of the Nuclear Navy, and not the one that shot Lobstah. At least we stayed on topic more than the last time.

We were going to talk about our guest's experiences in the USMC, but we forgot to do that. Instead we covered quite literally everything else.
