We are back with another episode of the Shitcast! Ben and Mel let loose with more unscripted podcasting. Listen to more as they chat about whatever comes to mind, embracing a spontaneous style.
So many things! Many, many topics to cover. I might even do some timestamps!
We're back and still have oh-so-much to talk about. We discuss a new manga I'm reading, Mel's new washing machine and dryer, and we both express our unpopular opinion on Spirited Away.
Sorry it is a little late.....
We recorded this episode a bit early due to my trip to Japan, but we still managed to find things to talk about. We cover the guilt of leaving your pet with someone else when you go on holiday, Mel's very expensive dental adventures, checking if your large ball sack is normal (not the testicles), and more.
This week we discuss the cost of medicines and why it's ok to take them without having any idea what they are, touch on the recently announced election (along with a please from Mel), and we cover what we've been watching.
Look at us getting back on schedule! This episode Mel shares her experiences dealing with the medical system in South Australia, I talk about how much of an expert I am on electric cars because I've been in one, we are effusive with our love of Love Scenery now that we've both finished it, and more.
It's another episode in which we don't have any notes and just chit chat for an hour, including another early interruption by my partner Oui, needing me to pick him up from the train station. We revisit Love Scenery (still watching it!) and then cover some of our dislikes over how women are treated in kdramas and cdramas (this is a thing apparently) and discuss some gaming too!
I know we joke about going of on tangents every episode but this is tangent-ception off the rails type of episode.
We cover all our TV shows and why I can't remember what anything is called, why people won't pay for public transport no matter how cheap it is, our planning for next years PAX expo, Mel potentially coming up with a better story for the next Star Wars, and
We're back! (technically on time because I uploaded it on Tuesday) This episode we touch on a recent viking-style get-together, what's wrong with my head, Mel goes on a massive rant about technology AND politics, and we lament the state of American healthcare. Hardly any tangents, aside from the first 30 minutes.
*Title has been changed since original upload
Tangents. We've got them! This episode we cover America's obsession with guns, my Kdrama habits, Mel teaches me how to be a proper lady (actually, I think I cut that), and much, much more. We've actually gone a bit long this episode and I blame Mel for being so interesting that I didn't want to stop. As usual, Like, Comment, Subscribe and all that.
It's so rare for me to keep a schedule line this for so long. This episode Mel talks about the dire state of RVing around New Zealand, we check if Wellington is actually the capital of New Zealand, and I mock their currency (as a joke - ours is only barely better). We mention girth in a few different contexts this episode so please enjoy. As usual, please Like, Comment, and Subscribe as it's very motivating for us.
This is our Christmas-episode-before-we-thought-about-when-it-would-be-published episode in which we discuss everything but Christmas. I will eventually become the type of person who puts chapter markers in an episode but why would I spoil the surprise? Half the adventure of listening to us is discovering where we went this time.
Mel and I are back with more asides: this time covering television, movies, and books. I didn't accidentally make it look like Mel was excited about anal due to my editing this episode. There is one part where we were talking about how shit the Divergent series is and it's not immediately clear that I've switched back to talking about Twilight, but I swear this was just me and not the result of editing. I think I actually looked at the agenda twice during this one so that must mean we're improving, right?
We're back for episode 1: the official, for realsies, serious business and all, beginning of the podcast (our diehard fans will know episode 0 is where it's really at). In this episode we discuss random friend encounter etiquette, why our cars are like magnets for other cars in empty parking lots, the risks of taking friends to your favourite food spot, some native Australian animals, and more.
Welcome one and all to episode 0 of The Shitcast in which Mel and I talk about whatever comes to mind.
If you're sensitive to a lot of swearing, turn away while you can. For everyone else: enjoy the show!
As usual, please let us know if you want to see more - we desperately need your validation.
