I've come back to visit Papa Pete up in Queensland for another round of chats. In this episode, we both talk about how we've been getting on for the last year without Scott, how grief has changed, and Pete also shares a few more stories of Scott. Hope you all enjoy.
I stumbled upon this video on Scott's phone a few months ago and decided to share the audio clip.
We got married in October 2023 in Las Vegas and it was the most beautiful wedding I could've ever asked for. Surronded by family, friends and loved ones, we ate, laughed and dance the night away.
Scott was afraid of public speaking, but in an effort to impress and get over his fear, he rehearsed his wedding speech several times. I found it adorable and sweet, and it shocked me even more when he basically memorized the entire thing.
I hope you all enjoy listening to it. It's hard for me to listen without crying a little bit, but I love and miss him so much. I can't believe it's almost been a year. It really doesn't...
I travel up north to visit my father-in-law, Peter Lansbury. It saddens me that this it took a tragedy to bring my father-in-law and I closer together, but I learned a lot about Scott and more about the man who helped bring him into this world.
Join myself and an old friend/colleague of Scott's, Dan, another American living in Australia. Together, we reminisce Scott and share some touching memories.
Celebrating Scott's birthday amongst good friends and some yum cha. We miss you and wished you could've pigged out with us.
Introducing DJ, my cousin, who in this episode, interviews ME and asks me a bunch of questions.
Hi all,
Finally touched down back home in the Bay Area, California. In this episode, you get to meet my sister, Mariko and her husband Glenn. We talk about the Election 2024 results, how they met and how they operate as parents with two small kids. Hope everyone enjoys <3
Family has left, and now comes the test of being alone. Also, sharing some of my favorite memories of Scott.
Don't know who will want to listen, but hope everyone is well.
Some tough news to share. Not even sure what will become of this, whatever THIS is. Thank you to anyone who listens and has been there for me.
I love you forever, Scott <3
PS.
I used my tiny microphone and I am unsure if the audio is any better? I was also in my car when I recorded this.
