Student Mental Health 101 Question & Answer

The student mental health crisis is one that can no longer be ignored in our post-secondary learning institutions. It is essential that our educational systems reflect the value of mental health as a human right and start collaborating with students to break down the barriers to wellbeing and justice.

Our introductory panel Q&A segment will kick off this special series on the intersection of mental health and post-secondary education from a justice perspective. The episodes are live recordings from SMH Summit - a week-long summit on the student mental health crisis and student organizing led by the UofT Mental Health Policy Council, UOCollective 4 Mental Health, and the Disability Justice Network of Ontario.

After Olson Crow leads us through a land acknowledgment exercise, the first-panel Q&A will feature speakers Kelly Davis, Kayti Baur,  Brady Kroeker who will speak to their own individual experiences and perspectives approaching the mental health crisis.
