The reformed athlete podcast is an opportunity for me to mentor my younger self, while speaking to my future self. This is a platform where I can reflect on all of the lessons I've learned about athleticism since becoming a coach and what I want to take forward with me as I step into my identity as a lifelong athlete. My hope is that a young athlete hears this and learns the lessons I wish I could tell my younger self, while an older athlete is able to take the lessons and apply it to their life, knowing it isn't too late.

Ep. 13- Never Skip A Workout Again: How To Stay Consistent At The Gym

Today is part 2 to yesterday's strategy discussion where we determined exactly what steps need to be taken this year to train like an athlete.

Today, we dive into the MENTAL strategy so you can use the champion mindset to stay consistent and disciplined on your road to athleticism.

This episode will help you:

- Show up to every single workout no matter how badly you "just don't want to"

- Push through workout ruts and mental roadblocks so you never give into your excuses

- Lean on coaches and teammates to help you stay on track with your goals

- Cultivate a culture of health, wellness, and discipline in your family & community

We discuss:

- Making your goals visible

- "The Time Will Pass Anyway" Theory

- The best way to think about discipline

- Holding yourself publicly accountable
