006: What it really takes to feel safe enough to heal

In Episode 2, I talked about what happens when you know what to do for your health but you just can’t make yourself do it. Today, I’m expanding on that conversation, because the truth is: you can’t heal if your body doesn’t feel safe.

And safety isn’t another protocol, supplement stack, or shiny new planner. It’s not productivity, micromanaging, or setting boundaries you can’t actually hold. Those things might create the illusion of control, but they won’t create safety.

In this episode, I’m sharing what safety really is, why so many of us never learned how to feel it, and the simple, daily practices that help your body finally exhale and receive healing.

🎧In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • Why you can’t “think” your way into safety (and why productivity won’t heal you)
  • How hypervigilance from childhood shows up as overdoing, overgiving, and never resting
  • What actually creates the conditions for your body to trust you again
  • The four pillars of safety practices: repetition, release, stillness, recognition
  • My personal experience with Kundalini yoga and how it transformed my healing
  • How to start small—so safety becomes sustainable, not another overwhelming task
