This week for RK 90s Summer, we revisit a film that not only celebrates it's 35th Anniversary in 2025, but was also a childhood favorite of ours! It's the well beloved and oft quoted tale of Arnold Schwarzenegger interacting with and teaching Kindergartners. There's obviously more to the story, but such an odd premise is pulled off so wonderfully. Although it is often times mis-categorized as a children's movie, and more times than not, has a darkness to it, it still remains a bonafide classic enjoyed by people of all ages to this day! It's not a tumor, but it's definitely Kindergarten Cop this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, we wheeze a little juh-uice! 90s Summer rolls on as we talk a film that is a pure, un-adulturated time capsule of the early part of the decade! It has an excellent soundtrack, an off-the-wall premise, an endlessy charming Brendan Fraser caveman, and Pauly Shore's weasel persona hitting big at just the right time! Our dear friend Tyler Stricklan zooms in to be inducted into the Radkast five timers club, and while he's there, he helps us talk the forever cool cult classic Encino Man this week on the Radkast!
This week for The Radkast 90s Summer, we talk about an unsung hero in world of Sports movies! It's a movie that had an outlandish premise, but balanced it out and kept it grounded by showcasing some of the best shot and most realistic Baseball ever put to film. Even if you aren't as instrested in accuracy in your Baseball movies, theres still enough charm to keep you endeared to it. It's Little Big League this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, we launch a new series with one of our favorite guests! For week eight of the Radkast 90s Summer, we revisit quite possibly the most 90's movie of them all, and definitely one of the biggest Summer blockbusters of the decade! Unlike when we talked about the film a few years ago, this go around we cover just about every bit of advertising that had Batman Forever slapped on it. We gush over the campaign itself, and try to illustrate just how big of an impact it all had on the film's success and how it set the standard for how Super Hero blockbusters would be marketed in the future! Strap in for an action packed thrill ride of a show, because Jeremy Weed is back to help us talk the Batman Forever Marketing this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, it's week 7 of the Radkast 90s Summer! For this edition, we talk four junior highers sick of their typical Summer plans enlisting the help of an eccentric former drama teacher with a knack for disguises. When it's soon found out by their classmates that the friends were planning on financially fleecing their parents, and hiding away for their own Summer ruckus, a host other kids come along for the ride to go buck wild in their own little haven. Even with snafus and close calls along the way, the audience is in for a fun adventure of 90s wish fulfillment! It's Camp Nowhere this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, Radkast 90s Summer rolls on with a sequel we used to watch constantly! So much so that we can't help but quote a bit and drop in a few audio clips here and there! Listen as we rejoin Wayne and Garth for a new adventure that sees Wayne wishing for a higher purpose in his life, having a vision quest where Jim Morrison tells him to put on a concert, and he and Garth set out to fulfill their destiny! Along the way they meet a kooky roadie, encounter a conniving record producer, and a sexy married woman has the hots for Garth. All the while, we the audience get the same absurdity and silliness we've come to expect from Aurora's favorite sons. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hurl...again as we talk Wayne's World 2 this week on the Radkast!
This week, we roll on with the Radkast 90s Summer! On this edition, our sister Samantha Kennedy returns to help us talk a film with charming, quirky characters and a killer soundtrack! A movie whose entire aura is a prime example of how younger generations romanticize the 90s...and we're not saying that's a bad thing! A rag tag crew, middle fingers to "the man" and that iconic spot where music is king. It's a bona fide cult classic, it's Empire Records this week on the Radkast!
This week, we continue with our coverage of Season 6 of The Simpsons! In our discussion of our top five episode rankings, we talk a very 90s television crossover, the origins of the classic "Bort," and the event that launched fan pandemonium during the Summer of 1995! It's The Simpsons Season 6 Part 2 this week on the Radkast!
On this episode, not only is it another week in the Radkast 90s Summer, but it also marks our long awaited return to Springfield! Listen to hear us talk about an elixir brewed by Grandpa that helps with the performance in the bedroom for the men of Springfield, A new girl leaving Lisa questioning her value, and Maggie being Homer's motivation. All those moments and more as we start our discussion of The Simpsons Season 6 on the Radkast!
This week on the show, we continue the Radkast 90s Summer by taking a trip back into the year 1995! Unlike the Decade Retrospective episode we did on 95 in early 2020, we're delivering a more focused look at the worlds of Movies, Music, TV, Video Games and Sports. This go around, we're showcasing some of the highest grossing, most popular and notable releases in the Summer of 1995! It's a Pop Culture Flash this week on the Radkast!
This week, we kick off The Radkast 90s Summer with a bonafide cult classic! Chazz, Rex and Pip are the Lone Rangers, an LA Rock Band just looking to make it big. When their attempts to get their song played on the radio take an unexpected turn, these relatively harmless knuckleheads find themselves in a sticky situation. As the whole ordeal is accidentally played on air, the three end up becoming folk heroes to the degenerates and rebels listening, and seen as three guys trying to live their dream, and stick it to the man in the name of rock n roll! Its a film the studio mismanaged marketing for, got booted from theaters in a manner of weeks, then found new life on cable and home video...as it goes for so many cinema classics! A melting pot of everything 90s, it's Airheads this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, we introduce our new series Gamer Guy-des by having an off-the-wall first edition! Long time podcast co-horts and chums Jeff Wright and Jake Vehlewald help us break in this spinoff of the Six Mix by talking confusion on a classic NES game's objective, drastic measures taken to give yourself more gaming time, and the sadness that comes with old tactics to beat a game going the way of the birds. This week on the show, we celebrate a huge milestone for one of the greatest movies of all time! Our dear friend Dan Drake is back on the show to help us gush over today's topic. I could list a bit of what we loved, but it's probably just best to listen to the three of us discuss how near perfect of a film Back to the Future is. We talk about it for its 40th this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, we're back at it with a particularly sweet edition of the Six Mix! We welcome long time friend Cody Willeford on to the show to take on the questions, and to discuss such topics as the almighty Metallica, the love learned from Steve Irwin, and the special love a parent has for their child. This is one of those jam packed episodes, so you know what's listed above isn't the only stuff we talked about! Far from it! So sit back and enjoy a real barn burner this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, it's our last stop in the 1970s for the next few months! On this episode, we talk the year that saw the death of a King, saw what happened when a mild mannered man got angry, and the first time the world visited a Galaxy far, far away! All those things and so much more in the world of Movies, Music, World Events, Television and Sports in the year 1977 this week on the Radkast!
This week, we're back again with the 1970s! On this edition of the Decade Retrospective, we cover topics like the million to one shot that became one in a million, the premiere family band of American Punk music, and the US celebrating a milestone birthday! All these things and more in the Movies, Music, Television, Sports, and World Events of the year 1976 this week on the Radkast!
This week's show is a real barn burner! Our dear and long time friend Phil Giesey returned to the show to take on the Six Mix questions, and boy did we cover a manner of topics! We talked everything from late character actor Dom DeLuise, mis-remembered moments from the HBO series the Wire, and Phil's choice of music that used to help him get through the work day! However, those subjects weren't even close to everything we got into for this week's of the Radkast!

Another week, another year in the 1970s! This go around we cover a historical resignation, a historical satirical comedy, and a television show that goes back in history. All those things and more when we talk the Celebrity Deaths, World Events, Movies, Music, Television, and Sports of 1974 this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, to round out March-ial Arts Month, we dig into our archives and pull out a past episode! In the spirit of the last two weeks, we decided there was no better re-release than our 2022 sit down with Jeremy Weed where the three of us discussed the first 3 Ninjas Film!
