This first episode is a Poem, 'Annabel Lee' by Edgar Allan Poe written in 1849.The central theme of the poem is Love.The narrator and Annabel Lee fell in love when they were young.Apparently a wind came down from the clouds, which made Annabel Lee sick and then eventually killed her.Her relatives came,took her away and shut her in the tomb.His love is eternal and he still lies beside her tomb every night.
