In this episode we sit down with one of our Sales Agents at Molenaar + McNeice Grahame Rowe. We delve into his story of changing careers to Real Estate after an incredibly successful career being a Garden Designer for the Royal Botanic Garden, the NSW Governor's personal Gardener and Garden Designer for Better Homes and Gardens TV.
Grahame speaks about excelling in his field, continuously striving for more and gardening metaphors like "creating a living tapestry " and "you plant the right seed, you get the right fruit". Albeit maybe a little bit cheesy, the metaphors serve as poignant imagery, as Grahame reflects on his journey so far and his desire to leave the world more beautiful than how he found it.

In 2020, the world was shaken by the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought about countless challenges and tragedies. But even in the midst of this crisis, there were people who rose up to inspire and support others, shining a light in the darkness. One such person is Faye Hollands and her daughter Charli. In May of 2020, Faye and her family received a phone call that every parent dreads, hearing that your child has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Faye began the Shine Like Charli charity to raise money for much needed research in the childhood cancer space. Over the last 2 years Faye has helped raise over $280,000 for this research and will be holding the inaugural Shine Like Charli ball again this year.
Recently we spoke to Faye on The Pink Project about her experience and to hear her story, where she turns heartache into hope.

Is there a rental crisis in Wollongong and Australia wide? Senior Property Manager Rachel King sits down with Jordy to demystify the cause and effect of record low vacancy rates and ‘rent-bidding’ in a highly competitive rental market. The current decrease in rental availability follows almost two years of closed international borders, and is expected to drop further as borders reopen for migrants and particularly international students to the University of Wollongong. Why is this happening? What are Molenaar + McNeice doing about it? What should the real estate industry be doing? With experience as both a landlord and tenant, Rachel seeks to ease confusion and increase transparency around how to secure a rental property in the Illawarra right now.
