Jordan and Jason recap a disappointing series with the Houston Astros that saw the Red Sox drop a Crochet game and a Buehler game.
However, Dustin May was brilliant in his second start for Boston.
Later, the two discuss the recently DFA'd first baseman Nathaniel Lowe as a potential option for the Sox down the stretch if they truly don't want to throw Kristian Campbell back to the fire in 2025. Then, they preview this upcoming series with the Miami Marlins, which could display some fireworks with Cal Quantrill slated to start Game 2.

The weekend crews, sans birthday Jack, recap a frustrating series for the Boston Red Sox in San Diego.
Riding the high of a good Walker Buehler outing, the Red Sox get a meltdown in Game 2 from Lucas Giolito and a deceptively bad pitching line in Game 3 from Brayan Bello. Regardless, the offense put up 10 runs in Game 1, only to score six combined in the final two.
Jordan and Brian also talk about the ramifications of there being a lockout in 2027, regardless of how much game action is missed and both ultimately pray the season isn't as altered as it appears destined for presently.
Lastly, the duo previews the upcoming series in Houston.

The weekend crew is here to recap another series sweep for the Boston Red Sox, who are now 11 games over .500 and fast approaching the top spot in the American League East.
How did they get there? A little bit of everything. Sloppy baseball, clean baseball, squandered opportunities, timely hitting, etc.
The crew talks about what was a blah deadline on paper but acknowledge there's intrigue with both Steven Matz and Dustin May. Regardless, there needs to be something done about Walker Buehler in the rotation.
Oh, and Trevor Story is back.

The weekend crew is back and so are the wins for the Boston Red Sox, who took two of three from the defending World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers over the weekend.Brayan Bello was OK, Walker Buehler was a worse version of OK, and Garrett Crochet shrugged off two first-inning homers and dominated his way to another victory. On offense, Connor Wong got his first extra-base hit of the season, but the big swings in the series came from Jarren Duran, Roman Anthony and Alex Bregman. Each of those swings mattered immensely in what was a series in which the aggregate score was 10-10.

Hunter interviews top Boston Red Sox pitching prospect, left-hander Payton Tolle.
The two discuss the honor of being considered a top 100 prospect in the game, as well as the honor of getting a lot of recognition within the fan base even if he's trying to block out outside noise.
Tolle also discusses his gains in fastball velocity as well as this incoming draft class full of pitchers -- even mentioning a time he got to watch first-rounder Kyson Witherspoon pitch against his TCU Horned Frogs when Tolle was still in college.

Jordan, Brian and Jason recap the first series of the unofficial second half for the Boston Red Sox, who lost two out of three to the Chicago Cubs. The trio believes this is more of a "can't win 'em all" series than a sign they cannot compete and ask fans to relax after many jumped off the bandwagon after dropping the first two.Alex Bregman is still that dude, even when he's not 100 percent. Additionally, Garrett Crochet continues his Cy Young-caliber inaugural season in Boston while Brayan Bello and Lucas Giolito rebounded nicely from rough first innings.Who will be the first acquisition for the Red Sox, who kind of have no choice but to get busy this month?

The Boston Red Sox absolutely smoked the Colorado Rockies this week, sweeping the series and winning in aggregate 29-7.
Masataka Yoshida made his return to the bigs, contributing three hits and an RBI to tie Connor Wong with one (1) run batted in on the season. It's great to see his perfect running form back at Fenway Park.
Jordan, Doink and Bayleigh go off on a few tangents, we're sorry to confess one was about Rafael Devers (again), but another was a major flip-flop on Jarren Duran and the Red Sox outfield. Why not Masa at 1B?!
Brayan Bello pitched his first nine-inning complete game on Tuesday, and Lucas Giolito dominated again on Wednesday. Just a tremendous series of belt to ass again for the Boston Red Sox!
