You don’t need to be everywhere, say everything, or do all the things to attract your dream clients!
In this episode, I’m talking about why doing more can actually make it harder for the right clients to find and connect with you - and how clarity, intention, and simplicity can completely shift the way you show up and get booked.
This is a gentle mindset reframe and a practical reminder: if you’ve been spreading yourself too thin, that might be the reason you’re feeling burnt out and attracting the wrong clients (ones who don’t want to pay your prices, aren’t aligned with your process, or just don’t light you up).
Hope you enjoy this one! I'll be back this time next week with another 🥰

You don’t have to launch your creative services to be fully booked.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing the real reason I don’t launch my design studio services - and what I do instead to keep my calendar consistently booked with dreamy clients (without the panic or pressure).
Because while launches can work, they’re not the only way - and they’re definitely not the most peaceful way for everyone. I’ve found a strategy that supports my energy, gives me flexibility, and doesn’t rely on short bursts of visibility or sales.
This episode is a gentle reminder that you’re allowed to build your business differently - even if it goes against the usual advice.
Hope this one gives you permission to make your business your own 🧡 I’ll be back next week with more!

I’m walking you through the difference between a burnout-prone business and one that’s been intentionally built to support you long-term - without the daily stress and overwhelm. Because it’s not about working harder or adding more to your plate… it’s about building a business that gives you space, steadiness and sustainability.
This episode isn’t a quick fix or checklist - it’s a deeper look at the kind of changes that shift everything. The same changes I made myself and now guide my clients through inside Booked Not Busy!

Today I'm sharing something a little different - the replay of my recent panel with fellow creative service providers - The Creatives Who Got Booked Up Peacefully!
In this live panel, I sat down with three amazing BNB members to have a real, honest chat about what it actually takes to build a booked-up creative business that feels calm and sustainable.
We covered it all - from what their businesses looked like before, to the turning points that helped them move away from burnout and feast & famine cycles, to what life looks like now with more peace and consistency.
Here are just some of the things we talked about:
This was an open, supportive conversation about the highs and lows of running a creative business and the real shifts that helped these creatives get booked up peacefully.

Waiting until you're burnt out before you take a proper break is only going to encourage quicker and deeper burnout... I want you to take control of your time off and feel confident that you can be rested and at your most creative with regular, restorative time off.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing how I’m designing my business right now to take the full summer off next year - and how you can start planning for the time off you really want, too. Whether it’s a week, a fortnight, or a whole month, taking time off isn’t about luck or last-minute juggling - it’s about building a business that supports space.
I’ll be walking you through my plans for next summer, the steps I'm taking to make sure that time off is my priority, and how you can follow the same steps.
✨ If the idea of taking a full month off and generally creating more time off is what you need, my group program Booked, Not Busy opens next week - and the waitlist is the best place to be. I’d love to support you in building a peaceful, booked-up business that gives you the time off you’ve been craving.

You don’t need to overhaul your whole business or find extra hours in your week to start making a change!
In today’s episode, I’m sharing a gentle, realistic guide to help you make space for change even when you already feel overwhelmed and at capacity. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like something in your business isn’t working anymore - this is your permission slip to slow down and start small.
These are the kinds of shifts I walk clients through every day - because real, sustainable change doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from creating a little space to do things differently.

You don’t have to earn your peace by being productive first. And it's actually a strong belief of mine that prioritising peace is what leads to sustainable, feel-good productivity in the first place.
In this episode, I’m sharing a gentle but powerful reminder that putting yourself and feeling good ahead of pushing for getting more done is not just better for your wellbeing, but also for your business.
If you’ve been caught in a cycle of “shoulds,” endless to-do lists, and pressure to do more, this is your permission slip to put you first - even inside your business.

You know that feeling when everything goes quiet in your business?
No enquiries, no new bookings, and suddenly you’re second-guessing everything — your pricing, your content, your ability to even do this. In this episode, I’m sharing why those quiet periods happen (even when you’re doing all the right things) and why they don’t have to be your normal anymore.
We’re talking about the deeper reasons behind the feast-and-famine cycle so many creative business owners get stuck in, and what it really looks like to build a business that’s booked in advance — peacefully, calmly, and in a way that actually supports you.

You might not feel burnt out.
You’re showing up. You’re getting through your to-do list. You’re not lying on the floor crying (at least not today). But… things feel heavier than they should. The simplest tasks feel overwhelming. Your creativity feels off. You’re either too busy or completely disconnected.
In this episode, I’m talking about the quiet, sneaky signs of burnout that so many creative business owners have just gotten used to - the ones we often dismiss as “just being tired” or “having a lot on.”

There are certain projects I always say no to - not because of "red flags", not because they're TERRIBLE clients and not even because they're not potentially good projects... But because they're not my perfect people and they're not the most aligned clients I could work with. And it's important to me to say no to the "not-quite-there" projects, so I can say yes to the "oh-my-god-this-is-the-most-amazing-project" clients!
I’m sharing the kinds of enquiries that could seem fine on the surface, but that I’ve learned aren't the best for me. These are the projects that I have found aren't best to keep my processes, my schedule and my creativity as peaceful as possible.
Whether you’re in a season of trying to say yes to everything or learning to hold your own boundaries with clients, I hope this episode reminds you that saying no is a powerful part of building a sustainable, spacious creative business.

Feeling like everyone is in a similar creative industry to you? Wondering how to stand out when things feel crowded and you can't stop comparing?
In this episode, I’m sharing a quieter, more strategic approach to standing out in your own space so you can get booked up with perfect clients - even in saturated spaces. Because the truth is: your uniqueness is your superpower... but you have to know how to define it, share it, and shout it as loud as you can! (In your own way, of course!)
If you’ve ever thought “there are too many people doing this - how can I stand out?” this one’s for you.
