EP 5 - Legal Framework This episode of the Budget Proces series will explore the various laws and mechanisms in place that govern the Countyy Budget Process. PAWA254, with the support of NORAD through URAI Trust Kenya, is implementing a 3 year project titled Rights, Inclusion and Transparency for Accountable Institutions (RITAI ) in Kenya.

The project seeks to promote a rights based society by fostering an enabling environment that supports the realisation of human rights through increased access to information, enhanced transparency, accountability, citizen participation in public affairs, and strengthened capacities and support systems for Human Rights Defenders in Kenya. The RITAI project is being implemented in Nairobi, Kajiado, Nakuru, Lamu, Turkana, Kilifi, Kwale, Tana River, Kisumu and Siaya counties. PAWA254 is implementing the RITAI project alongside URAI Trust, Haki Yetu, Friends of Lake Turkana (FOLT), Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ), and Muslim Women Advancement of Rights and Protection (MWARP). The project is supported by Norwegian Aid (NORAD). PAWA254 is developing a digital library in the form of podcasts, YouTube videos and online radio content that seeks to empower, educate and inform the public on topics of Public Finance Management, Social Accountability and Access to Information in Kenya. Bipolar is a disorder associated with episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs, manic episodes may include symptoms such as high energy, reduced need for sleep and loss of touch with reality.

Depressive episodes may include symptoms such as low energy, low motivation and loss of interest in daily activities. Mood episodes last days to months at a time and may also be associated with suicidal thoughts.

Treatment is usually lifelong and often involves a combination of medications and psychotherapy.
