This is the 3rd and final episode of the Oral Health Mini Series. In this series, we have looked at the importance of oral health and how to maintain it. I will be speaking with a dentist, speech and language pathologist and an occupational therapist about why oral health is important for overall health and what you can do to help keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy.
On this episode I am once again speaking with Cassie Lorie, Occupational Therapist from Brain Body Better. We discuss some of the difficulties that people with Parkinson's and other mobility problems can have when performing their oral care. We also discuss some exercises that people can do to help maintain their hand and arm function to make it easier to do good oral care as well as adaptive equipment that people can use to help them maintain good oral health.
I hope you enjoyed this mini series!
