The Paranoid Paramedic

I’m Matt. I’m 39 years old and I’m a Paramedic. After being in the ambulance service for 6 years and Primary Care for another 10, I want to talk about something clinicians of every profession have and that’s professional paranoia. “Did I do it right…” “Did Mr X get better…” “What happens if…”

Its perfectly natural, but I want to explore, with the help of some friends and other professionals how we use this as a positive. Let’s face it, its always going to be there, so what can we learn to help?

We’ll cover clinical topics that worry us, we’ll talk about cases that have panicked me and learn about how to calm, de-stress and jump off the rumination train.
