If there is an anthem for the youth in Pakistan, it is disco deewanay, and today we celebrate the woman who sang it, Nazia Hasan.
We had two choices in the 80s, Zia ka Pakistan or Nazia ka Pakistan, on one side we had guns, extremism, and violence, and on the other side we had love, music, and dance.
We all know what Pakistan chose, and not only did we lose Nazia Hasan, we lost Nazia ka Pakistan.
