Professor James Moore of Imperial College London is developing an implant called Faciliflow to treat breast cancer-associated lymphedema. Dr. John Samuelsson is a medical data scientist and graduate of the MIT Health Sciences and Technology program. For his PhD, he explored the use of encephalography to sense activity in the cerebellum, a structure at the back of the brain that has an extremely high density of neurons and is critical for movement, coordination, and attention.
