After an excruciating year of begging and pleading for answers, we learned that Nikki Cheng Saelee McCain, a Northern California mom of four, was allegedly k*lled by her abusive husband. Prosecutors say he did this so that she wouldn’t testify against him at a domestic violence trial. Nikki Cheng Saelee-McCain’s body still has never been found. The Shasta County District Attorney’s Office announced that Tyler McCain was arrested after an informant told investigators he admitted k*lling his wife in May 2024 — when the 39-year-old was last seen alive. Former homicide prosecutor Jarrett Ferentino, Geo-Profiler Douglas MacGregor, and USPA's boots-on-the-ground- for this case, Brian Fitzgibbons will join the discussion about what's to come.

It's been 36 years (to the day, 8/20/1989) since Erik and Lyle Menendez killed their parents- and it's always been about the why. The Menendez brothers will have their parole hearings this Thursday, 8/21 and Friday 8/22, after an LA County Superior Court judge reduced their sentences from life in prison without the possibility of parole to 50 years to life. Emmy-winning journalist Robert Rand provides a fresh update on the Menendez Brothers case, 36 years after Lyle and Erik were convicted of murdering their parents. Rand talks the new evidence, including a 1988 letter from Erik detailing abuse by their father, Jose, which could sway the court toward parole eligibility. Rand also discusses the brothers’ ongoing fight for freedom and the impact of his book, The Menendez Murders, in reshaping public perception.

What's taking so long for Matthew Farwell to go to trial? We dive into the latest developments on Matthew Farwell's docket and Sandra Birchmore's alleged m*rder. Farwell is the former Stoughton police officer charged with the 2021 murder of Sandra Birchmore, a 23-year-old pregnant woman he allegedly groomed since her teens. We also provide an update on his twin brother, William Farwell, named in a civil lawsuit alongside Matthew for their inappropriate relationships with Birchmore. William Farwell was able to dodge both a domestic violence and battery charge in January of 2025.

Ryan Hemphill, a Manhattan private equity executive, was charged in a 116-count indictment in April 2025 with multiple counts of predatory sexual assault, rape, and other offenses. The allegations detail a series of acts where Hemphill is accused of subjecting women to "grotesque physical and sexual violence" in his midtown Manhattan apartment. This included the use of electric torture devices like shock collars and cattle prods, psychological torture, and forcing women to ingest controlled substances. Hemphill pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail as the case unfolds, with prosecutors suggesting there could be additional victims.
