Parenting does not come with a guidebook. We wish it did, and the stay–at-home-dads on this podcast will be the first to admit that they get it wrong most of the time. So if you’re looking for answers, we’re afraid you’ve come to the wrong place. But if you’re looking for authentic stories, fellow vulnerable dads, and parenting experiences (both the good and bad), then tap that play button now! Each episode features dads who are primary caregivers to their kids, having candid discussions filled with laughter, tears, and shared epiphanies, in hopes of helping one another navigate the challenge

Origin Story - Communicating care to men & supporting fathers

Cliff Tam (founder of The Ordinary Dad), stay-at-home-dad of almost 5 years, talks about what this ground-up initiative is (and is not!) and shares about his struggles of being a primary caregiver to his kids when he first started out.

Joining him is Dr. Tam Wai Jia, his wife, who shares her perspective as a spouse of a Stay-at-home-dad. She discusses how spouses can support one another in a family dynamic that sometimes can get misunderstood by others.

Host: Josiah Ng
