Lifestyle entrepreneur Amar Ghose talks about the digital nomad life, and travelling the world as both the means and the end in itself! What do I mean? I mean Amar started travelling as a way to SAVE on expenses-- the Bay area, while being tech-central, is not very pocketbook-friendly. He gave up a lot to live the life he wants to live, and ends up meeting his future wife in Thailand! It’s beautiful how we can “connect the dots” in hindsight!

He’s an inspiration to many as well as Andrew Yang’s favorite fighter (ex-democratic candidate in 2020 presidential race). Get a sneak-peek behind the scenes of the mindset it takes to win fights as well as getting back up after a loss. Andre talks about having “heart” as a fighter-- and I think this is a great lesson for all of us to “bring it all” and to give it our best, no matter what it is that we do. He talks about many lessons that apply not just to fighting, but business and life in general. Haters, trolls, confidence, mental preparation... I forget we’re even talking about “fighting” given how well these concepts apply to real life. Be prepared for your “opportunities!”

Taiwanese-American trombonist Peter Lin is a young and creative musician active on the New Jersey and New York scene. A graduate of the esteemed jazz programs of William Paterson University (undergraduate) and Rutgers University (graduate), Peter studied with jazz trombone legends such as Slide Hampton, Steve Turre, Conrad Herwig, Robin Eubanks, Steve Davis, & Frank Lacy. He has performed with many notable artists including Slide Hampton, Winard Harper, Charli Persip, Valerie Ponomarev, JD Allen, & Radam Schwartz. Peter is also an established educator, holding a prestigious faculty position at Melissa Walker & Christian McBride’s non-profit organization, Jazz House Kids. His first record, With Respect, featured arrangements of classic Chinese and Taiwanese songs, which peaked at #3 on the NACC Charts and #4 on the RMR Charts. Wow! Where were you when I needed you back in college Aisen!? The title basically says it all-- he coaches Asian men how to attract beautiful women. Let's be honest, I'm an Asian man so I can speak from experience-- we generally just suck at the dating game. A lot of this can be traced back to our culture, being raised "Asian-style," full of negative reinforcement and low self-esteem tactics. It's kind of sad when I write about it this way but I think a lot of Asian men can relate. Our parents tell us to "go to our room and study" compared to white kids who socialize more.
