Increasing Representation to End Stigma in Epilepsy

In this episode, Karan and Sophie are joined by two special young adults with epilepsy, Miles Levin & Skylar Economy. Miles is an award wining writer and director who's creating Under The Lights, a feature film aimed to end the stigma of epilepsy. Skylar is an Emmy nominated documentary filmmaker focusing on documentaries to amplify unheard voices. In this episode, we'll discuss the stigma associated with epilepsy, how it affects the way individuals share their diagnosis, and how we can increase representation for all.
