On this week's episode of the NovPod Jenn and Joce are joined by Jocelyn's friend from law school, Abby! Abby is the bada** Editor in Chief of the law school's journal but also just a literal ran of sunshine in human form. Similar to Jocelyn, Abby has always thought about becoming an attorney but went to law school after living a bit of life, including moving to New York to be a bartender. During her last year Abby thought she was set after getting offered to be Partner at a new law firm where she had interned, however, things did not go as planned. Now she is going with the flow to see where life takes her and in the meantime she enjoys being a novice rock climber with her brother. Enjoy!
This week Jennie's friend from college, Courtney, joins the NovPod for a candid conversation about about taking big leaps of faith and always prioritizing your own happiness. Courtney started her Smile Darling Blog while she was between full-time jobs and has taken great joy in helping people find affordable fashion and beauty products while also hosting real, raw conversations. She now works full-time as a recruiter which she absolutely loves and plans to keep the blog going as her side hobby. Check her out at https://smiledarlingblog.com/ and @smiledarlingblog on Instagram!
This week Jenn and Joce are joined by one of Joce's oldest friends, Kenny. Jocelyn and Kenny go all the way back to elementary school and have both lived with the pressures of being high performers. Kenny discusses how he has navigated into a career in the sciences and what it is like working on a PhD. While finding time for new things and hobbies is challenging, quarantine has allowed Kenny to pick up yoga which he encourages everyone to give a try! Enjoy!
On this week's episode Jenn and Joce are joined by Lisa Fallahi who talks about her career as a Physical Therapist in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital and how she leverages her free time to continue to try new things like skiing and golf!
We loved chatting with Lisa and hope you guys do too!
