Salman Agha’s brilliant century (100*) and Hussain Talat’s maiden fifty (56) powered Pakistan to 299/5 after a shaky start. Despite Wanindu Hasaranga’s superb all-round show, 3/54 and a fighting 59 off 52 balls, Sri Lanka fell just short in their chase of 300. Haris Rauf’s fiery spell (4/61) turned the game after Sri Lanka’s strong 85-run opening stand. Late heroics from Wanindu and Theekshana weren’t enough as Pakistan held their nerve to seal a hard-fought win.
