Ladies and Gentlemen! HERE WE ARE WITH EPISODE 2 OF THE POD!
I am beyond thrilled to have one of my absolute favourite artists from our land; singer-songwriter, and the frontman of The Electric Cool Kid, IMLIAKUM AIER! From his impressive academic run from masters, pursuing theology, and teaching as a professor—to leaving it all behind just as he was working on his PhD to follow his passion for music.
This pod is full of juice! So much depth and inspiration as we dive into his start in music, writing songs at 13, overcoming his struggles with substance abuse, and his life-changing encounter with God. We discuss how his faith continues to guide his life now. We also explore his creative process, touching on the craft of songwriting, and the stories behind his music.
I first heard Imliakum a couple of years ago when I came across his song Dancing in the Capital. I was instantly hooked and became a fan. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know him on a personal level, and I quickly realized he’s so much more than just a phenomenal artist. From his immense talent, intentionality, and intelligence in his craft to his humor, wit, and charm; Imliakum is someone I deeply admire and am super fond of.
In fact, the very first time we met, I invited him to the pod! We originally planned to record this months ago, but we never really went through with that. However, it was all meant to be as we pushed the entire project to the later part of the year, which is now. GOD'S TIMING!
This episode is full of heart, honesty, and Imliakum’s incredible journey. A conversation that delves into life’s highs and lows. I promise you, it’s one you do not want to miss!

We are here with our VERY FIRST GUEST on the POD— KOKO SAVINO!
I have had the honor of being her friend and listen to her sing live, and I am convinced she is genuinely the best singer I have heard! While being exceptionally talented and refined in her craft, Koko Savino is someone I truly admire in terms of the way she carries herself and her walk with God!
Koko is not only a phenomenal singer but also a dedicated music teacher, and her journey is as inspiring as it is deeply personal. She shares her early experiences with music, from singing in Sunday school to her transformative time with her choir in Shillong. Koko opens up about the challenges and triumphs of pursuing her passion, the pivotal role of her family, and the profound influence her faith has had on her path.
We also dive into her unique approach to teaching, her mastery of vocal technique, and even A SECRET DEVICE she uses! Beyond that, we explore the heartfelt stories behind some of her most memorable performances.
This conversation is an authentic glimpse into Koko's life, her unwavering dedication to her craft, and the values that guide her every step of the way.

We live in a world full of people flexing, and showing what they got, that often leaves us with a feeling of FOMO (fear of missing out). Having us focus on what we don’t have and the things that we are missing out on rather than appreciating what we have, and the fact that what we usually have are often all that we need to get to where we want to be, in order to have the things that we want.
Join me as I talk about how having gratitude helped me get a certain perspective which eventually lead to a whole mindset, geared towards appreciating the tiniest of things. Just operating from a place of gratitude has helped me so much both in my personal life and in my work too, allowing me to channel my energies more towards the positive rather than dwelling in the negatives. So, join me as I talk about all of that.

"I am not good enough", "I can't do this", "I am not worthy", "What will they think about this?" Do you ever have these thoughts run through your mind, because I have and I am sure a ton of other people have faced them too.
Join me as I introduce my podcast, and address "Insecurities", something that has left a lot of people crippled from pursuing the things that make them happy. I had a ton of insecurities growing up, and I am sure you had a fair share too. In this episode, I will go on to talk about how I overcame my insecurities, and how you can overcome yours too.
And if you stick around longer, towards the end of the Podcast, I share one of my own stories about probably the biggest insecurity I had about myself growing up, which impacted almost all aspects of how I grew up and lived my life.
Thank You! I hope you enjoy the Munguli Sangtam Podcast!
