At MULTIVAC UK we are continuously introducing new and innovative ways to reduce our carbon footprint across our whole supply chain, whether that be adding solar panels to our offices, or helping our customers reduce their own CO2 consumption.
For the second episode of our second series, our host Elliot Chrisp is joined by MULTIVAC UK’s processing team at the heart of our Local Innovation Centre to dive deep into C02 consumption within beef production.
Liam Smith, Processing Business Unit Manager, is joined by Liam Chapman, Karl Jones, and Lewis Pascoe, where they provide some pretty impressive stats and information on how our solutions can improve your carbon footprint and production efficiency.
The team will be on hand at our 40th anniversary event this year for 1-1 workshop sessions, giving you the chance to put them to the test and challenge them with your own products. (2-3 October 2024, MULTIVAC UK, Swindon)

For the first episode of our second series, our host Elliot Chrisp is joined by fellow MULTIVAC UK colleague and Director of Key Accounts, David Church, and Kitty Langton, Press and PR Manager from FareShare UK.
Fareshare UK is the UK's largest national network of charitable food redistributors who take good quality surplus food from all areas of the food industry, and get it to nearly 8,500 frontline charities and community groups.
Believing that no food should go to waste, FareShare redistribute food that is nutritious and good to eat, which is then turned into meals. The food reaches a range of charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people's lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week enough food is provided to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people. Pretty impressive, right?
Answering a selection of questions which have been asked by our fellow listeners, Elliot, David and Kitty look at how much food is wasted, how food manufacturers and UK households can help, and what UK retailers are doing to encourage a reduction.
