This episode was inspired by a recent video that we shared on our YouTube Channel called, "A Normal Day Living in the Mountains". We felt that it needed a bit of an explanation because videos can only show so much and after all, the internet is a lie haha! First, we go on a little rant about YouTube life, you know, the mystical unicorn where no one understands how you make money?
If you watch our video (it'd be cool if you did), you get to see our small, poorly lit, terribly designed, condo that we're renting! We share our slight embarrassment about showing our home to the internet world but it's REAL life and we're NORMAL people! We talk about the things that we didn't show in the video, like the fact that we're low key nerds and listen to classical music and meditate every morning. Victoria talks about her experience sport climbing a 5.10b and taking her first ever whipper! Cody brings up some wild ideas towards the end of our conversation that might actually change the world.... lab grown meat to fight climate change anyone?!

Hey everyone! Welcome to The Mountain Blues Podcast (Blue is our last name. Not to be mistaken for the music or being sad)! In this episode, we set you up with a grand introduction of what this podcast is about, who we are, and how the heck we got here, living in the mountains. We haven't always lived up at elevation, in fact, we both grew up in the DESERT! It's been an interesting and wild ride for us, growing together and figuring out this whole mountain life thing.
