A Thought Experiment 19 - Creating Context, Lewis & Clark, National Championships, The Word Protean

Today’s episode focuses on the idea of creating context and the importance of context in understanding people, places, and situations. From there, we move into a thought experiment on the word protean and the Greek god from which it is derived, Proteus. The discussion then turns toward Undaunted Courage and the story of Lewis and Clark in their exploration of the American West. I also speak about my personal connection to Lewis and to Idaho, and to Lewis and Clark State College, where I pay tribute to legendary coach Ed Cheff and reflect on the national championship I was part of in 2008.

As always, it’s all part of a thought experiment.
