A/Prof Hamann is attached to the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and a neuro-ophthalmologist with interests in optic nerve disease, pupillary disorders. He divides his time between research, teaching and clinical care. A/Prof Hamann discusses the current understanding of drusen pathophysiology, the use of new technology to aid diagnosis, differentiation from papiloedema, and management.
