Have you ever felt like you were planted in the wrong place—like life’s circumstances were too harsh for you to thrive?
In this heartfelt solo episode of The Michele Roys Show, I share the story of my desert rose—a little plant my uncle gave me when she was only three months old. He told me, “Take care of her with love, and she’ll thrive, even in Ireland.”
At first, I doubted. How could a desert rose survive in a cold, rainy climate? But with love, light, patience, and care, she rooted herself, overcame challenges, and this year—after 4 ½ years—she finally bloomed. 🌸
Her journey mirrors my own—navigating chronic pain, invisible illness, and feeling uprooted from what I once knew.
Just like her, I’ve had to find new strength, deepen my roots in God, and believe that blooming is possible even in unexpected places.
💛 In this episode, you’ll hear:
✨ The powerful life lessons my desert rose taught me about patience, resilience, and joy
✨ Why love, care, and kindness are essential—whether for a plant, a person, or yourself
✨ How faith and deeper roots in God’s strength help us bloom in the hardest seasons
✨ A reminder that beauty takes time, and your story isn’t over yet
Whether you’re walking through illness, change, or a season of waiting, my prayer is that this story encourages you: you can bloom again, no matter where you’re planted. 🌹
