So, my instagram account was disabled and deleted by Meta - wow, what a time!

While I was gutted by this, I used it as an opportunity to show up as my "ideal self" THE PERSON I WANT TO BECOME

If you've been following me on socials you will know that I developed Standout Salon Academy, an online course that takes new and overwhelmed salon owners from stressed to THRIVING - I am so proud to say that it sold out in less than 72 hours and it's been an amazing journey so far - my foundation round babes, are killing it.

While I was developing SSA (so this is before my account was deleted, I remember thinking crap, I shouldn't have a website that's themaneedit.com because that doesn't make sense long term with all of my coaching, online courses & business resources - so if you’ve listened to previous episodes, you’ll notice that I say head to the maneedit.com - that’s changed and for this reason —— the constant is always going to be me - so my website, that has Information about the mane edit (this podcast) SSA my online course and links to my coaching and workshops, should be mikkiauld.com - Just as I had that thought, my account was disabled. I was gutted. And can I just say too - I was meta verified, and there was still no added support - I wasn’t given the option to appeal and it didn’t seem to matter where I looked, it always sent me to help files so FYI - meta verification doesn’t mean your insta account is 100% secure.

It took losing my instagram for me to step into the person that I want to show up as and to also do a complete rebrand so that my website platform made sense…
