In this episode I talk with Milena Avramovic - a LEGO Serious Play facilitator from Germany.
Milena and I talk across a range of LSP subjects but I was particularly fascinated by Play 2 Connect - a spin or unique application of LSP with couples. Getting them to talk about their relationships, their wants, their futures. Milena goes through how she runs these events and how they are different to normal LSP sessions.
I found the conversation fascinating for two reasons: It's a unique space to use LSP, but many of the twists Milena does I can see being translated back to the more standard use of LSP in the business world.
There's a lot to take away and learn from when people like Milena push the frontiers of LSP.
Thanks you Milena for being a pioneer and for sharing your insights with us all!
Episode 17 of the LSP Method Podcast is out! In this episode I talk with Yassine Chaker - a LEGO Serious Play facilitator (amongst other things) from Tunisia.
Yassine goes through some of his experiences with LSP and together we go through the subtly different roles of facilitator, trainer, coach and mentor.
I love Yassine's energy, positivity, motivation - he's inspiring to listen to. It's been so fun working with him on the LSP Method Partner Program - where he is now certifying other people in LEGO Serious Play in Tunisia and beyond.

It was a wonderful conversation. Give it a listen and stay tuned for more episodes soon!
This is an awesome, special episode of the LSP Method Podcast. In episode 14 I talk with Lúcás Ó'Ceallacháin - his thing is high performance. He started in the sports realm developing elite athletes and coaches but he works across industries as a coach, facilitator, leader, mentor, consultant around all things high performance.
One of the tools he uses is LEGO Serious Play. In this chat we cover SO MUCH, including:
- How Lucas uses LSP with olympic athletes and coaches
- LSP as giving "agency" to people in the conversation
- Saying "no" to a client
- The spectrum of psychological safety

and so much more.
Lúcás is elite in the way he thinks and works with other amazing coaches and leaders. It's a true pleasure to sit and chat with him and soak in some of his insights.
I'm proud to say he's also a Partner in the LSP Method and knows LSP so well that he teaches and certifies other people in how to do it.
Thank you Lúcás for the chat! I'm already keen to get you back on to chat more.
Listen to the podcast and follow Lúcás. He's doing some great work and there's lots to be learnt from the way he does it.

Episode 12 of the The LSP Method Podcast is out! In this episode I talk with Will Barnes, a Senior Manager and consultant at one of Australia’s leading Professional Services firms.
Absolutely loved this chat with Will. We talked about his different engagements and projects where he uses LEGO Serious Play. The idea of “Brilliant Basics”. The different levels of LSP - Individual, Team, Environment - and where it fits into Will’s practice. How LSP opens people up and Will shares a fascinating example of this from his work. Amongst many other reflections and tips from his extensive experience using LSP with top companies around the world.
Will was so generous with his time and sharing his knowledge. And he’s just an awesome guy to have a chat with. So passionate, so insightful. And it was a real pleasure getting to hear about LSP in different contexts like Professional Services.
Thanks Will!
The LSP Method Podcast Episode 11 is out! In this episode I talk with Sarah Derriks - de Wit, a consultant and facilitator from the Netherlands.
We talk about LEGO Serious Play in Sarah's Agile and transformation work. Lots and lots of tips about LSP and sessions she's been in. Highlighting one of the superpowers of LSP - how it enables feedback in conversations and teams. And we talk about Sarah's book which has lots of practical activities for combining LSP and Agile.
One of the things I'm loving about the podcast is getting to meet and talk with people who trained in LSP in different ways. We all have this common foundation (the LSP method), but the different styles and way we all go about using the method is a pleasure to explore.
Thank you Sarah for a wonderful chat! Check out our conversation (with LSP builds of course!)
In Episode 10 I talk with the Erin Faehrmann, and we range across A LOT of topics. From Erin's wonderful approach to bringing play to work to taking your LEGO to job interviews, we talk sabbaticals and portfolio careers, different uses of LSP and the topic of fail-a-brations - where I even share a story about me peeing my pants as a youngster. That's right we go there!
It was such a good conversation. Erin has a very unique and well thought out way she brings Play into the workplace. Lots of great tips and mindset shifts that many of us could take onboard.
Thank you Erin for both your energy and passion for your work and the relaxed and chilled nature you bring to the conversation. It was such an easy chat, yet so much goodness weaved in there.
Alright this is a special episode of the LSP Method Podcast. In Episode 9 I talk with Alastair McGregor. He uses LEGO Serious Play in some fascinating ways.
He uses LSP with prisoners, police, first responders, conflict negotiation and with a whole host of other amazing people and places. Al dives into some powerful LSP experiences and the insights he's gained from them.
But the goodness doesn't end there, Al also dives into some pretty deep stuff in his own world through his LSP builds. Opening up and showing the true power of LSP as a communication too.
This is a really powerful episode you need to watch / listen to.
Thank you Al for your authenticity, vulnerability and your trust in me to guide a fun conversation.

Episode 8 of the LSP Method Podcast is out! In this episode I talk with the sparkling Jenny Martin. A facilitator from the UK who works across Agile, Product and People.
She uses LSP throughout her work. But as she says in the interview she doesn't lead with LSP, she weaves it into most of her sessions where it fits best.
We talk about some of Jenny's LSP experiences. The future of LSP - particularly the importance of these practices where we are being human. And we discuss diverse teams and how they make better decisions, amongst many other things (kindness, flourishing).
Overall it was a wonderful chat with a very switched on facilitator. Lots of insights and learnings to take away.
Check out the 50 minute conversation, including Jenny's three LSP builds.
Thank you Jenny for the energising conversation!
In Episode 7 I speak with the wonderful Julia Hancock. We start talking about what is at the base of LSP - a common communication language. Allowing each of us to peak into the others' mind. We also talk about the flexible nature of LSP and all the little places you can slide it into a program. And Julia talks about her work with LSP in education (and Shakespeare even gets a mention!).
In this episode I'm going solo! Sharing some brief thoughts on facilitation skills and LEGO Serious Play. I talk about that moment when someone shares their story and what I do to facilitate that. I reflect on how I'm using LSP in this interview podcast format. And lastly finish off this short episode talking very high level about "Do you need strong facilitation skills to do LSP?".
Today on the LSP Method Podcast I talk with Paul Kelly, a facilitator from the UK who uses LSP (amongst other tools). We talked about his entrepreneurial journey in starting his business. Looking back in embarrassment and how that shows you're learning. Neurodiversity and how it's not being talked enough about. And lastly we discuss the LSP sceptic.
Loved the chat with Paul. Check out the 45 minute conversation below, including his three LSP builds!
Today on the LSP Method Podcast I talk with Mauricio Gomez, an LSP Facilitator from Colombia. We talk about the idea of the "invisible facilitator" and where he learnt his craft. The emotional nature of what LSP can unlock. And Mauricio also shares his journey, what he's learnt and where he's going.
Loved the chat. I'm honestly learning so much from these wonderful facilitators all around the world.
For our first guest I caught up with Dr. William Ramey to talk all things LEGO Serious Play. We discuss the entrepreneurial journey, shared leadership, his LSP experiences and even his thoughts on structuring a session.
In this episode I dive into how you go about learning the LEGO Serious Play Method. From experiencing it, to reading books to the 5 main training organisations that run LSP Certification.
Welcome to the first episode of the LSP Method Podcast where we talk about all things LEGO Serious Play. In this episode I share a bit about my background, how I view LSP and where I see it heading.
