Partly due to his experience as a hunter and tracker he found himself working as the point man for patrols. His time there he was part of 2 major battles which he has written a book called "The Best of the Best The Fighting 5th Marines Vietnam, Dying Delta" which goes into great detail about his experiences. From a small town in Wisconsin, Benjamin Mattson, decided to leave the small town for Marine Boot Camp. From his first time on a plane to San Diego he was ready for world travel. Earning the title he found himself as an Aircraft Mechanic on his way to Okinawa Japan. Learning the ropes and traveling the far east he eventually made it back to the states where he finished out his contract before entering the civilian sector and becoming a Marine Reservist. Alicia Grados, Army Veteran, is a fantastic example of success in the Armed Services. Joining the Army as an enlisted soldier she quickly decided to move into the officer ranks. Having her degree in finance you would think she would be placed in a position to utilize her expertise but the Army had different plans.
