In this episode of The Leadership Untitled Podcast, I chat with Actor and Coach, Anastasia Griffith!
Anastasia has been an actress for 21 years, starring in award-winning TV dramas in Hollywood and the UK. (I knew her from 'Once Upon A Time').
Despite 'living the dream', Anastasia suffered from imposter syndrome and self-sabotaging behaviour to emotional and sexual abuse at the hands of those she thought were there to support her.
After much self-healing, Anastasia (also a single Mum) now works as a Coach to support Actors and Parents through the journeys she has been through; all while crafting her life around her son.
Take a listen to the episode and let me know what resonates most with you. 🔸🔶

Hi, and welcome to another episode (and series) of The Leadership Untitled Podcast, with me Rob Moors, the show that helps to guide HR, L&D and Operational Leaders to help them become better leaders and hopefully thrive in what we like to call a coaching culture.
My guest this week is a really special guest in the world of coaching, and is going to help you to do that instantly; Prof. David Clutterbuck. Now there's a good chance that if you've done any CIPD courses or coaching qualifications you may well have stumbled across a book or two of his; he's written, or co written, around about 80 books on the subject, so I would say quite the authority.
In his own words he’s the last fully active survivor of the pioneers of coaching and mentoring, and also Special Ambassador to the oldest professional association in the field; the EMCC, which he also co-founded.
So please join me in welcoming David to the Podcast.

My guest this week is Lauren Waldman, from Learning Pirate.
When Neuroscience found its way into Lauren's world, it was game over. All it took was one question, one that we’ve all, at some point or another have asked ourselves, “how did I not know this!?” it was the question that changed everything.
Diving into the science of the brain Lauren became her own best case study and learning experiment. Through her challenging, emotional and victorious learning journey, Lauren came to understand what learning really is, how it feels and how to methodically approach it. All the while gaining more familiarity with the inner workings of her brain. It was and still is a profound experience.
It is Lauren's passion and purpose to evolve the way we learn now. It’s equally important to bring a stronger understanding and awareness to people about the very thing doing the learning and that which makes us all us. The remarkable brain.

Welcome to the latest edition of The Leadership Untitled Podcast, with me Rob Moors… the show where we seek to help leaders through a range of guests and stories, some hints and tips and maybe a bunch of mistakes that we made along the way, so you don't have to.
My guest this week is Helen Harrison. Helen is the Head Teacher at a local primary school; in fact, it's the school that both of my kids went to… Mossley Primary School in Congleton.
So, why a Head Teacher? Well, I think it's time we got back to grassroots when it comes to leadership; not so much the academic side, the models, the theories and the debates; what do our kids think about it? What do we teach our kids in school when it comes to leadership and how do we encourage them to experience leadership and followership?
Something that really struck me about speaking with Helen was just how much emphasis she and her school place on coaching, and I don't mean just the coaching of children, but the emphasis on coaching conversations and coaching amongst her staff, the teachers, and the conversations they then have with other people such as parents on parents’ evenings.
It’s a coaching approach, and an investment of time energy and money in that approach, that I think lots of corporates could really learn from.
So, join me in welcoming Helen to the show.
In this episode my guest is Dave Ulrich; the 'Father of Modern HR'.
Dave Ulrich is the Rensis Likert Professor at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and a partner at the RBL Group (http://www.rbl.net) a consulting firm focused on helping organizations and leaders deliver value. He has published over 200 articles and book chapters and over 30 books. He edited Human Resource Management 1990-1999, served on editorial board of 4 other journals and on the Board of Directors for Herman Miller (16 years), has spoken to large audiences in 90 countries; performed workshops for over half of the Fortune 200; coached successful business leaders, and is a Distinguished Fellow in the National Academy of Human Resources. He is known for continually learning, turning complex ideas into simple solutions, and creating real value to those he works with in three fields.
Organization. With co-authors, he has influenced thinking about modern organizations (Reinventing the Organization) by empirically showing how organization delivers 4 times business results over talent (Victory Through Organization), defined organizations as bundles of capabilities (Organization Capability) and worked to delineate capabilities of talent management (Why of Work; Talent Accelerator), culture change (GE Workout), learning (Learning Organization Capability), and collaboration (Boundaryless Organization).
Leadership. With colleagues, he has also articulated the basics of effective leadership (Leadership Code and Results Based Leadership), connected leadership with customers (Leadership Brand), shown how leadership delivers market value (Why the Bottom Line Isn’t), shapes investor expectations with an ability to measure leadership (Leadership Capital Index), and synthesized ways to ensure that leadership aspirations turn into actions (Leadership Sustainability).
Human Resources. He and his colleagues have shaped the HR profession and he has been called the “father of modern HR” and “HR thought leader of the decade” by focusing on HR outcomes, governance, competencies, and practices (HR Champions; HR Value Added; HR Transformation; HR Competencies; HR Outside In). He spearheaded a “gift” book on the future of HR (The Rise of HR) distributed to over 1,500,000 HR professionals), in which 70 thought leaders freely shared their insights.
Most recently, he posts new articles and insights each Tuesday on Linkedin (over 170): https://www.linkedin.com/in/daveulrichpro/.
What is Trust, and why should anyone in business care? My guest, Stephen M. R. Covey explores these questions to shine a light on what he calls, "the new currency of our interdependent, collaborative world"; speed goes up and costs come down when trust is high.
Trust has never been needed more than it is today; but, how can Leaders go about building and strengthening levels of trust within their teams and organisations? What are the barriers that will get in the way, and how can you overcome them? What if trust has already gone... can it be rebuilt?
Stephen answers these questions, and a whole lot more... so take a listen and let me know what you thought of our chat.

Where does work now sit in our priorities? Is 'hybrid working' working for everyone? Is it right to ask everyone to come back into the office? What is expected of leaders in the post-pandemic workplace?
