Does our universal desire for transcendence point to the existence of God? In this video, I explore the Argument from Desire, which is a compelling case for God's existence made famous by C.S. Lewis and embraced by many thoughtful Christian thinkers.Lewis observed that just as hunger points to food and thirst to water, our longing for something beyond this world—a deep, persistent yearning for meaning, joy, and eternity—may point to the existence of something (or Someone) real that can fulfill it. Could this longing be a clue written into the fabric of human experience, pointing us to the reality that we were made for more?Join me as we unpack this argument, look at various objections, and consider whether our deepest desires are signs of a transcendent reality.

In this thought-provoking video, we dive deep into one of the most powerful arguments for the existence of God: The Design Argument (also known as the Teleological Argument). Does the order, consistency, comprehensibility, and beauty of the universe point to an intelligent Designer?Whether you're a believer, skeptic, or just curious, this video breaks down the key concepts, scientific insights, and philosophical reasoning behind the idea that the universe is not a product of chance — but design.

What does the Bible actually say about the final destiny and fate of the unsaved? Will the unquenchable flames of hell ultimately torture the lost, purify, or consume them? In this episode of The Kingdom Way, I have a fascinating discussion with Chris Date from Rethinking Hell. We talk through what the Old and New Testaments have to say about what awaits those who reject God. What we see is a consistent picture where only the faithful are promised eternal life and immortality, and the lost are destroyed, perish, and experience what is called the second death.

What is God's gender? Is God male and therefore masculine? What about the role of Mary, the often called 'Mother of God'? Dr. Peeler helpfully explains how Jesus, the one who is truly God and truly man, is unique in having God as father and Mary as mother. Listen in as Dr. Amy Peeler and I discuss God's fatherhood, the prominent role of the Virgin Mary, and what implications this has for women and men who follow King Jesus.

In this episode, we explore how the Way of Jesus and good news of the Kingdom of God are profoundly political in nature. If this is true, this has significant implications for how followers of Jesus approach voting, discuss partisan politics, and how Christians engage with secular political discussions.

In this episode, I unpack what is known as The Lord's Prayer, found in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6:9-13, and in the Gospel of Luke, 11:1-4. Prayer is one of the spiritual disciplines taught by Jesus to his followers, something we are to practice. More than this, prayers from those who are allegiant to King Jesus are said to be "powerful and effective" (James 5:16), able to change the course of history.
