Learning skills or tools that one can incorporate in one's daily routine or scheduling time is important in promoting our general wellness, most especially tweens and teens who are in a transitory phase and most things, if not all is changing. Taking a break from the motions of life and simply taking long breathes and focusing internally.
2020 was an interesting year for all of us. What lessons can we draw out from the experience we've had and now, intently model it to our children, young adults and adults as well? In this episode I share why resilience is a necessary skill and how we can model or foster being resilient for ourselves and also for the people who are within our different spaces.
In this episode we briefly talk about social development of children from Infancy to adolescence, why it's important to develop social skills. We look at some of the milestones they are expected to achieve in each stage and finally, how we as parents, guardians etcetera can enable our children develop their social skills.
