“Embracing God’s timing” means accepting and trusting that God has a perfect plan for your life, even when it doesn’t align to your desire or timeline, and actively choosing to believe that His timing is always the best. Even if it feels slow or uncertain; it’s about surrendering control and finding peace in knowing that God is orchestrating your life according to His will.
We live in a world that values instant gratification and quick results. So it can be hard to wait on God. But God’s timing is perfect. He has a plan for our lives that far surpasses our own understanding. When we learn to embrace God’s timing, we open ourselves up to a future filled with hope, purpose, and blessings beyond measure. Embracing God’s timing requires trust and faith.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, for everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. We must trust that God’s timing is purposeful and orchestrated for our good.
In this episode, our special guest, Atty. Ruth Dulatas of Dulatas and Associates Accounting firm, a worship leader and musician from Christ is the Answer, who dreamed to become a lawyer ever since she was 8, shared her experiences, sacrifices and glimpse of her inspiring journey to achieving one of her greatest dreams that once broke her heart, but eventually led to her life changing testimony and victory!
If you’re someone who is still waiting for God’s plan and timing, this episode for you.

Have you ever been to a moment of your life where you had to learn life lessons in a hard way? It's way more than just studying mathematics and science in school.
Well, I am sure, you do! Well all do! In this solo episode, I shared some of my realizations, my thoughts and even my vulnerabiltiy which I think is in line with my current season: "Total Surrendering: Letting go and letting God."
Jean Beyinda published a statement in January 2024 saying, "After crashing and burning recently, I had to learn a life lesson the hard way and this got me thinking if there wasn’t a way I could have learned this lesson without going through that pain? Of course, someone could have told me directly what I needed to do or not do, but I don’t think that the lesson would have sunk in that way. Even with the most accurate description of a life lesson with the most illustrative examples, it still won’t have replaced the experience of learning it through pain."
If you're someone who might be going through the same, this episode is for you. You may listen to the whole podcast episode of The Joni Talks on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts. Our contents are also now available on our official Youtube channel: www.youtube.com/@thejonitalks

As we close the chapter of 2024, may our last episode for this year inspire and encourage you to keep going, growing, serving, and trusting God more this new season! This episode is called “Worship Matters.”
It talks about the important things I have learned, and I believe every Christian must know. "The highest form of worship is obedience." and "The heart of worship is surrender."
I would also love to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the love and support for our show. We’re now streaming in almost 60 countries! It was really God’s grace that brought us this far. Praise God! Rest assured that we will continue creating inspiring and encouraging contents this 2025. See you around!
If you are a member of the music ministry in the church, I believe that this episode may be relevant to you. In this episode, our special guest, Ms. Abigail Abengoza, one of the worship leaders from the Victory Church in Quezon Avenue., shared her testimony about her journey in serving God through music. She admitted that she was once lost and consumed by popularity and did not understand the true reason for her service. Watch and listen to her story and be inspired by how God changed her life and replaced her rockstar attitude with a humble and surrendered heart. If you are a worship leader, or an aspiring one, this amazing episode is for you!

Have you ever felt underqualified for a significant task? Has this feeling prevented you from taking that leap of faith and trusting in God despite your fears and doubts?
It’s essential to put such fears and feelings into perspective.
The truth is that none of us are ultimately qualified.
So, what truly qualifies us, then?
Jesus is the only one who can qualify us. The Apostle Paul reminds us, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).”
Jesus does not call the qualified; rather, he qualifies the called. Calling the unqualified has always been God’s specialty. We can look to the heroes of our faith in the past—David, Solomon, Joseph, Esther, Ruth, Moses, Miriam, Deborah, Lydia, and the list goes on.
Therefore, we must continue to step out in faith, embracing the Lord’s calling upon our lives and trusting him to guide us every step of the way. As the psalmist proclaims, “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1). We may not be worthy or feel worthy, but there is only one who is truly worthy, and that is Jesus Christ, as revealed in Revelation 1:17-18.
Hence, we must step out in faith and obedience, serving the Lord’s Kingdom without allowing fears and feelings to dictate our destination and his call on our lives.

In this episode, Joni talks about how important for us Christians, to become an encouragement to others during these difficult times. Whether we admit it or not, it is very easy to be discouraged nowadays, social media being so depressing, the world being cruel, being in a toxic environment, hearing the judgements, complains, and negative opinions of so many people that happens almost every day. No matter how strong and encouraged you think you are, being discourage is such an everyday battle for everyone!
Says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, " “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
We all need each other. As an ambassador of Christ, we need to always be strong in the Lord, encourage ourselves on His promises, meditate His word and share His love, hope, salvation and encouragement to other people. We are the light and salt of this world, and as a world changer, it is one of our tasks for our life to shine for the Lord!

It was 12 long years of waiting before she reaches her season of success and victory! It’s been a long journey but her success in life and her growing company has proven that even when we don’t see and feel it, our God is working. Get ready to be inspired with her amazing story.
