Welcome Back Interleaguers... As is tradition, we had an unexpected hiatus as life beckoned. We appreciate your patience, and hope you missed us as much as we missed you. Its that time of year that teams can lose a championship even though they cant win one... Dont know what I mean? Well tune in and let us learn you something. We discuss the upcoming road for both squads, and share our thoughts on what these next 21 games mean. Plus youll get all of the other usual info we like to share. Its always great to be back, and thanks for making us a part of your day.
Your boys are back with another week of the Interleague. We change it up a bit... kind of... and dive into the realm of baseball traditions. For them? Against them? Want to see more? Something new? We touch on it all. Plus you get all things fantasy updates as well as the status of our favorite clubs. Its a long one... blame me (Spags), but thanks for making us a part of your week.
Whats up Interleaguers... your favorite baseball podcast is back, and we are chatting through some new reoccurring topics we would like to introduce. At the beginning of each month (starting with this one) we chat through how our teams can make this month "successful". What does that mean exactly? Well, I guess that depends on how things are going. We of course get into camp updates, power rankings, a dash of fantasy, all the usual suspects - we even tease some topics for next week. Thanks for making us a part of your day.
Well, we made it. One weekend officially in the books, and man was it a fun one. Plenty of baseball left to go, but things went as expected if not better for our boys in red and pinstripes (respectively). We breakdown the opening series, share our thoughts on some early reactions, and give some updates in our little slice of fantasy land. An unexpected week off, and a delayed posting of Episode 119 threw things through a loop... but if you stuck with us let us say thank you and hope you enjoy.
Whats up Interleaguers... your favorite baseball podcast is back with some hot takes about one of our most favoritest things, our Fantasy Draft. Hopefully some of our friends dont tune in, because it gets brutal. We also dive in to the Marmol extension, comparing 2023 expectations vs 2024, the shifting of tides in Cardinals Nation and the Empire, plus some more. Buckle up, strap in, or just let the devil take the wheel... whatever you decide, we are happy you are here.
Another week, another Interleague episode. This one is a deep dive into Keeper Season for our fantasy league - dont worry we touch on some MLB stuff too. Keepers ranked, a peak inside how we evaluate Keepers, and some set dressing for our impending Draft. Tune in next week to hear how disappointed I am with how it went... and if you are hear listening, much appreciated.
Oh yeah!! The Interleague is back baby!! As the calendar hits March it was time to dust off the mic. We try our best to hit on the hot topics of this offseason so far, but there will plenty of time to hit all the content brewing at the surface. We are excited to bring you things from camp for both squads, as well as all the insight for Fantasy as we embark on our leagues 15th season. Buckle up, its sure to get bumpy, but we wouldnt have it any other way.
Whats up Interleaguers, your boys are back with the latest on the MLB playoffs. We join the wagon and discuss the current format of the MLB postseason (and I explain how it could be better). We break down the LDS a bit, discuss early grumblings of what we want from our front offices this offseason, and talk through potential intriguing World Series matchups. Sneak peak of Award Season coming at you next week, so definitely come back and see us. As always, thanks for making us a part of your week.
Whats up all you Interleaguers... Your guys are back just in time to wrap up the regular season and look ahead to the playoffs. Full disclosure, we give you want last episode of complaints (with a sprinkling of playoff talk). We promise the episodes throughout this month will be more MLB Playoff centric. CMann also drops some big news, so make sure you give this one a listen. As always thanks for spending part of your week with us.
Howdy Interleaguers, we are back with another week of coverage for all things Yankees and Cardinals. There is only so much that can be said with the turd scented seasons our boys are having (at least when compared to expectations), but dont worry, we havent run out yet. We discuss so uncharted waters for the Cardinals, Cinderella stories for the Yankees, and basically set the scene for things to come. 2 weeks remain in the season, and we will count it down with you. As always, thanks for stopping by.
Whats good Interleaguers, your boys are back and trying to bring some positivity. The fantasy season did us dirty, but I try on some rose colored glasses when it comes to talking about our camps. We, as always, talk about the road ahead. Revisit what our teams have to play for, and small things that cant help strike a positive chord on the end of the season. Grab a snack, strap in, and thanks for spending a little bit of your week with us.
Whats up Interleaguers... After an unexpected hiatus, we are here to dust off the cobwebs. Life in general took its toll, and we quickly found ourselves with the summer off - but have no fear, we are back with some new content. We discuss the state of our beloved teams, our early thoughts on how things are shaping up in 2024, and why we think the games are worth watching. We give an overview of our regular season in fantasy, and then before you knew it 2.5 hours went by. This one is a longer one so strap in... and also ignore the mislabeling of Ep. 113 at the start, thats me setting Chris up for failure. Its great to be back for this home stretch of the season.
Welcome back Interleaguers... sorry it happened again. We unexpectedly took a few weeks off due to some illness, mixed with some work stuff, and a dash of vacations. No fear though, we are back into the swing of things. May came and went, and we do our best to bring you back up to speed. The Cardinals got bad, then got great, then got even worse. The Yankees are having a strong year given all the injuries, but it feels like are playing for a WC spot already. We break down the chaos that is St Louis, dabble into the realm of pinstripes, but try to keep bringing you fresh takes on the game we all love. As always, thanks for finding your way back.
How's it going Interleaguers... It's time to change the calendars which begs the question, is it time for some change with our teams. Maybe the sky isnt falling, maybe it has only been a month, maybe we need to extend the leash a bit. OR..... maybe the Cardinals and Yankees need a new approach. Fresh blood, a new spark, something to build on. At the time of recording, both of our teams sit in last place - a statement I never thought I would say this year. We dive in and tell you all about why we think that is, of course cover some fantasy, and hit on some of the fans favorite random topics. As always, thanks for stopping by.
Welcome back Interleaguers, we are bringing you the latest and greatest from all things Yankees and Cardinals. We are nearing the end of the first month of the season, and if you have been paying attention in its no surprise that we are a little shook with how the league looks. Unexpected results are the name of the game, and it has infected every division. We dive deep into that, we talk about some controversial front office decisions (well really just one), and the growing feeling of doom that we feel inside about this season. Its early, but I wouldnt call us happy campers. Join us as we due a poor job of talking each other off the ledge, and as always thanks for making us a part of your week.
Howdy Interleaguers, welcome back to another week with your favorite hosts. Ok, so listen... I know we were quick to jump in the deep end and scream the sky is falling. Im happy to report we took a more relaxed approach this week, and try to find some silver linings. Those small things that you can hang some positive vibes on. We discuss the continued disappointing start from the Cardinals, break down some of the weaknesses we have noticed, and simply call them out as potential areas of concern. The vibe is much happier on the Yankees side of town - but they still sit 3.5 GB behind a Rays team that had the most favorable schedule to start a season ever. Needless to say, we get its a long season, and understand it could be a bit much if we a doomsayers start to finish. We appreciate your patience as we reel things in a bit - and as always thanks for spending part of your week with us.
Whats up Interleaguers... as we reach the 10-game mark in the MLB, and wrap up Week 1 for fantasy, we delve in to what we think about early returns from our teams. From the positive outlook on the Yankees rotation when healthy, to the unexpected early season record for the Cardinals - we get to it all. Week 1 was a tale of two different teams in fantasy, but I try to keep my title defense thinking to positive vibes only. We touch on some random MLB topics, Player Safety, Favorable Schedules, and the value of the Stolen Base to name a few. As always we cant thank you enough for being here. Enjoy!!
Whats Up Interleaguers... Baseball is back and so are we. We cant begin to tell you how happy this phrase makes us, and how much we look forward to getting back to weekly content. With the opening weekend plus some under our belt, we give you some way to early takes about both our clubs. We also discuss the new rules that are all the buzz around the league. Chat a little bit of fantasy, and give some love to the newest darlings in St Louis - our boys at City SC. This is a long one, so buckle in and grab your snacks ahead of time. Thanks for joining us.... we have certainly missed you.
Holy crap we are back. This isnt a fever dream... after a little hiatus we are dropping new content bringing you the latest info from Spring Training, sharing our thoughts on the World Baseball Classic - and sharing some love for all things St Louis sports. Sometimes you need to appreciate the little guys. We arent quite back to our regular schedule, but bear with us as we are getting there. Opening Day is only mere weeks a way, and Draft Day is only days. Its a great time to start to get hyped for baseball, we cant wait for it to be back. Until then, thanks for killing some time with us.
SURPRISE!! We figure it had been long enough to make you all wait for the next episode to drop. Catching you up on all things Hot Stove, the underwhelming approach from the Cardinals following the FO talking a big game, and what we are looking forward to with pitchers and catchers reporting in about a month. We lay out what to expect in terms of schedule, and discuss if St Louis is losing its appeal from a player/staff perspective. It wouldnt be the Interleague without me (Spags) chiming in about spending teams money - so there is plenty of that. Thanks for coming back, or joining us in general for you first time listeners. Enjoy...
