Becca is an educator, writer, historian, adoptee, mother and author of the forthcoming book ‘Who Is a Worthy Mother? An Intimate History of Adoption’. She wrote this historical memoir to speak truth to power for her sister Rachel, who she lost to a drug overdose in 2017. Becca lives with her family in Seattle and teaches in the School of Education at the University of Puget Sound.
