Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat Podcast. I know, we are just surprised as you to see Luke back in the saddle playing co-host. We are excited to have Kelsey Rae Morris with us! Kelsey is an artist and outdoor enthusiast, hanging her hat in Three Forks Montana. A lifetime artist, Kelsey didn't open her artwork business until 2018 being influenced by wildlife and Western landscapes.
You can find all of Kelsey's artwork on her website at www.kraeartworks.com
Don't get us wrong, we love Luke Cox, but we did miss the sweet sweet voice of Carter McKenzie.
Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast. Carter is back in the saddle and we are stoked to have Jaden Bales joining us this week. Jaden comes from a family of western hunters and spent a good amount of time hunting mule deer on the family farm in eastern Oregon. It wasn't until he moved away that he realized how tough it was to start from scratch to go hunting out west. Jaden founded the company "Hunt West" to help people understand the entire logistical production that goes behind the scenes when planning a hunt out west.
Did y'all hear that? We think Luke Cox is back in the saddle as the podcast host for this episode! Miracles may actually come true!
Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast. This week we are in person in the the great state of Wyoming with our fearless leader, Luke Cox, and he is joined by the nature whisperer himself, Dan Reitz, along with Georgia legend, Carson. The boys are hanging in camp after several successful hunts and are taking a minute to get off their feet and kickback for a bit.
We're back with another episode where the dynamic duo are back together. Carter and Cole sit down with Zach Adams, Founder of On Glass Adapter. Zach, much like others hunters, was frustrated with most adapters and equipment that were on the market notably the many pieces that were needed especially, specifically with your phone, when swapping adapters from one set of glass to another. This is when Zach fired up his 3D printer and started making prototypes which has now turned into a full fledged business. After extensive research, countless iterations, and months of design and field work, On Glass has developed an adapter that strikes the perfect balance between simplicity, size, price, and design–bringing even the most remote wildlife right to your smartphone.
One of the last episode before our wild man of a podcast host, Kerri, goes full Jeremiah Johnson. Sitting in the warmest seats there is, our fearless podcast host, Carter McKenzie. And we are stoked to have HLE team member Nick Chan on the podcast with us this week. Nick is a huge fan of Taurus firearms and its helps that he works for Taurus here in the land of the US and A. Taurus guns - affordable at any price point. 3. wanting to go full "into the wild" like that kid in the movie did but skipping the dying part in the end. spoiler alert.
We are back on our regular scheduled program here at the Hunt Lift Eat podcast. Back again with our host, Carter Mckenzie, and trusty sidekick, Kerri M. Kerri is still questionably homeless as he records this podcast outside someone's house and is stealing their wifi.
We are stoked to have Drew Dick on podcast with us today as he and the boys talk about the ups and downs of being / staying in good physical shape. Drew, formerly known as "The Big Guy", went through an incredible transformation from being that big guy into the weight crushing machine he is today. But this didn't happen over night - it takes years of dedication and commitment and Drew is here to talk about it.
We're a few days late posting a new episode but that's just who we are. Plus it's archery season so we've been playing hooky and sneaking out to the woods.
Welcome back to another episode of the HLE podcast with our longtime host, Carter McKenzie, and our re-occurring co-host, Kerri, who's hat seems to get more curved each time we talk with him. Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast where Carter is looking handsome as ever and Kerri is no longer homeless. We are stoked to have Nick Jefferies with Custom Antler Design out of Washington State. We are back and better than ever! Carter invited our podcast manager, Cole, to co-host with him - rookie mistake! We're stoked to have Austin Stone with Tactical Approach Outdoors back on the podcast with us. Long time listeners will remember Austin and we cannot be more excited to catch up with him.
Tactical Approach Outdoors has a focus and emphasis on land management - a super interesting topic that we are always wanting to learn more about. From land pressure to food plots, Austin knows how to look at a piece of land and help you maximize its potential.
Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast! Spearheaded by our fearless leader and host, Carter Mckenzie, who managed to scramble these bunch of degenerates together.
This episode is all about planning on the execution of the recently drawn Wyoming mule deer tag. Because these boys are so prepared, they decided to have a live logistics talk discussing what gear they are bringing, where are they going to be staying, and all the other tips and tricks that are involved when traveling for an out of state hunt.
Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast where we lift so many weights that Kerri tore his sleeves off and crimped his hat even more.
We're stoked to have Brian Krebs, host of the Drawn West Podcast, on with us this week. Drawn West is for hunters who feel the pull of the mountains — chasing bugles, big country, and adventure. Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast! Back in the saddle is our host, Carter Mckenzie, returning after a brief stint over in Europe where air conditioning is non-existent. Sounds gross.
This week we have Weston Homa joining us on the podcast. Weston is the host of his own podcast, Run The Rack, where he takes great interest in a lot of the same core values as we do here at Hunt Lift Eat such as Adventure, Hunting, Fitness, & Growth. Not only is Weston a hunter and outdoorsmen, he is also passionate about running. Breaking a 2:50 marathon and currently training for a solo 100 miler.
Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast. This week is a special week because Carter is overseas in France and left our podcast manager Cole to host with our re-occurring co-host, Kerri. With most folks having drawn their western tags by now, its time to plan and sort out all of the logistics that go into a hunt, especially for those who are traveling from the east cost out west to states like Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, etc. The boys share some of their knowledge on all things from a-z when traveling for out of state hunts and how to make things go just a bit smoother.
Welcome back to another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast. This week Carter & Kerri welcome back our good friend, Keifer Rogers. Keifer Rogers, a number of years back, went full Jeremiah Johnson and moved from the east coast and went westward. Keifer was a late bloomer in the hunting world not starting this journey until after high school. Once Keifer was introduced to the hunting world, there was no turning back. Keifer is now an avid hunter, archery master, and successful guide helping folks in multiple states such as Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and even New Zealand.
Green Beret Fitness (GBF) was founded in 2018 by former British Army Officer and Green Beret, Gregg McLeod. Gregg spent 15 years in the Army, completing his Green Beret Commando course in 2010. His final two years were spent working with the United Kingdom Special Forces in London, England.
"People are capable of more than they think" was the starting ethos, and from that belief, Green Beret Fitness was born. The methods and tactics used in Green Beret Fitness Events are selected to take everyday warriors to their physical and mental limits. Teamwork plays a critical role in the military and it is no different in our events.
We wanted events that were different. We wanted them to be hard. We wanted people to be pushed to their limits and come away stronger for the experience. We wanted our Members to embody our motto:
TOUGH.STRONG.FIT
This is not your run of the mill hydration system.
We're back with another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat Podcast and this week we are stoked to have Joe & Ross Ellis from Drifter Hydration with us.
Drifter hydration has built a water and fluid system that is meant to get beaten up, taken outdoors, and create less worry when it comes to your hydration. What sets them apart from other companies? Two big things - you have the ability to pressurize your water and remove the constant sucking effect and two - your hydration system is built for the rugged outdoors. Unlike other hydration packs, Drifter Hydration is a hard shell bladder that can get beaten up, thrown around, and will not break while you're in the outdoors.
We're back with another episode of the Hunt Lift Eat podcast and are super stoked for this episode. We have Luke Kenton from Kenton Industries. Kenton Industries is best known for its custom turrets based on your rifle and cartridge that you are using. The main benefit of a custom turret is fast and easy target engagement by not having to calculate the addition or subtraction of clicks off of a chart. This provides the hunter more time to focus on good shooting form and shot placement.
Kenton Industries can help you increase your accuracy, extend your range, and increase your chances as a hunter.
