The Holmwood Foundation is a Found Footage Horror-Fiction Podcast following Maddie Townsend (Rebecca Root) and Jeremy Larkin (Seán Carlsen), two co-workers at the mysterious Holmwood Foundation, as they are possessed by the ghosts of Jonathan and Mina Harker, and embark on a road trip across the country in an effort to achieve their ghost's wishes: stop Dracula once and for all.
This is a story about identity and self discovery, family loyalty and devotion, all wrapped around a nightmare of a road trip with a rejuvenating severed head, incredibly sincere Victorian ghosts, and an analogue recorder.
General CW for horror and loss of bodily autonomy/possession

(My apologies for any phlem and mouth sounds during this message. I'm currently battling a cold)
Hello everyone. Georgia here, one half of the writing team behind the Holmwood Foundation.
We now have two weeks left to go on our Kickstarter for season two. Unfortunately we are currently only 18 percent funded, and are running out of time to secure the full amount.
If we don’t raise the amount needed, we simply can’t make season two. We have no outside funding, and no current sponsors. We are not a large production company. Holmwood is just the two of us writing, producing, and finding the money to pay our cast and crew.
If you like what we’ve produced for season one, and want to know what happens next to Maddie, Jeremy and the Harkers, please consider donating to the kickstarter. We have a range of exciting tier rewards on offer, including cassette tapes of the pilot, stickers, postcards and a deck of playing cards designed around the main cast.
If you lack the funds right now, please know that any shares, reviews and recommendations go just as far, and we appreciate any and all assistance in spreading the show’s reach.
We’ve loved making Holmwood so far, and we are so excited to bring you season two. We know exactly where we’re headed in the story, but we need your help to get us there.
Thank you so much for listening.

Hello everyone, This is Fio Trethewey for your update on The Holmwood Foundation.
Following our successful seven-episode first season, we’re back to crowdfunding for Season Two, and this time we want to bring you ten brand new episodes to continue this story and expand the world of The Holmwood Foundation!
We estimate that we will need £40k to make Season Two a reality. This includes paying our cast and crew a fair rate, distribution, website costs and tier rewards.
If you'd like to support the show, here are the rewards you can receive for backing our campaign! Including Stickers, Postcards, High Stakes fandom goodies, a deck of cards, and a physical cassette of our pilot with unique packaging!
Should this Kickstarter be successful, we aim to record in mid-2026, in time for a bi-weekly release schedule in Autumn/Halloween 2026.
We’re crowdfunding until November 13th so please do support us to make Season Two a reality. Find our Kickstarter at the following link

As we continue to prep for our Kickstarter launch in October, have a listen to the last of our Season One feed swaps: Before The Tone!
Before The Tone is a queer science fiction horror podcast produced by Knave Of Hearts. We follow Mack, a woman who has just gotten a job as a CCTV operator at the increasingly-suspicious Atlas Consulting. It takes the format of voicemails from Mack to her sister, Daria, who never seems to answer her calls. The horror tends towards the psychological as Mack is stalked and reality becomes a little less solid where Atlas is concerned. The science fiction is focused on time and how its fabric can be manipulated.

Hello everyone. I’m Georgia Cook, one half of the writing and production team behind The Holmwood Foundation. With Season One now ended, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has listened along, posted theories, made fanworks, or just enjoyed the adventures of Maddie, Jeremy and the Harkers up to this point.
Whether you've been with us since before the pilot, or joined us along the way, we couldn't be more grateful that you've chosen to spend your time with us. And we sincerely hope you enjoyed what we've given you!
So, what comes next?
We've got two more seasons of Holmwood planned. At the current time of recording, Season Two Scripts are fully outlined and about 3/4s complete, and will be ten episodes long.Same as with Season one, we will be Kickstarting Season Two. We're just putting the final touches to our Kickstarter campaign, which we plan to launch in October, so keep an eye out for that! We should be posting the pre-launch page to our socials very soon.
Due to actor availability, Season Two (should we secure funding, and nothing unexpected happens) should be out around October 2026.
We'll also be looking to cast three new roles for the coming season, so keep an eye out for more information if you're interested in joining the team!
Please follow our socials if you haven’t already, or join our Discord! Links to all will be in the show notes for this episode.
And last of all: what did you think of Season One? Did we meet your expectations? Do you have a favorite character/episode? Are there plot points or themes you wish we'd handled differently! Let us know!

Hi all,
This is Georgia, one half of the Holmwood Foundation writing team, just posting a quick update regarding the Holmwood Foundation.
As you may or may not have heard, our Kickstarter for season one ended last week, after successfully reaching our funding goal of 23 thousand pounds, which means we are now full steam ahead on production!
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us up to this point, whether monetarily, by listening and sharing our pilot, enthusing about us on social media, or giving us your time and experience to help make this show possible, we have been blown away by the support. We wouldn’t be here without your help, and we are so so grateful.
So, what comes next?
Right now we are hard at work editing and locking off our season one scripts, wrangling our actors and finalising our recording schedule. We hope to release the rest of season one in Spring or early summer 2025, but we will keep you updated as we go, via our socials and this feed.
In the meantime, we are also working hard to begin fulfilling the tier rewards for our Kickstarter backers! Please remember; if you don’t fill out your backer survey, we will not be able to get your rewards to you, so please take a moment to do that now, if you haven’t already!
If you missed the Kickstarter window, we do have late pledges open for a short time, in case you would like access to our private Discord server, access to episodes a day early when they drop, or a shout out on our website. If that interests you, do check out our Kickstarter link in the show notes!
We will continue to release art, character extracts, script snippets and other goodies over on our socials, as we gear up for the rest of season one, so please do follow us if that interests you! We regularly answer questions and interact with our followers. Links also in the show notes.
That’s all from me for now! Please do reach out to us if you have any questions, comments or concerns. A huge thank you again. We can’t wait to show you the horrors we have in store!
