Christians have the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us daily as we're to walk by faith and not by sight.
Many make decisions that impact their life. Whether it's employment, relationships, etc. and throughout encounter resistance and opposition. There are many reasons for that, but one definitely could be God trying to realign because a decision was made and acted upon that wasn't in God's time.
