14. "Freaks" (1932) & SAM'S POEM!

LIVE FROM THE FREAK SHOW!

This week, the boys take a look at the highly controversial, yet ahead of its time, 1932 film "Freaks". They discuss their love for cathartic endings, the film's impact on future cinema and plan on illegally showing it in one of the US States in which this film is STILL BANNED.

Later in the episode, Sam shows Arron his AI Voice, the boys discuss their addiction to the Pokemon TCGP, the Wicked cast crying in EVERY interview, Lizzo and Lana Del Ray beef on Twitter and Sam finishes off the podcast with a lovely poem.

13. "I walked with a Zombie" (1943) & "Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story" (2024)

LIVE FROM A TRAFFIC JAM!

This week, the boys take a look at two films! Can you believe it? Arron is admittedly very critical of "I walked with a Zombie" (1943) because of how long it took him and Sam to get home from town after watching "Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story" (2024).

Later in the episode, Sam shows Arron his top-secret cameo in a new BBC TV Show, the boys get messages from not one, but TWO US PRESIDENTS and Arron shares the details on how he got blocked by a public bus service account on Twitter.

12. "Megalopolis" (2024) & JON VOIGHT HALLMARK FILM QUIZ!

LIVE FROM DOWNSTAIRS!

This week, the boys, alongside Buddy the dog, take a look at the fable known as Francis Ford Coppola's Megaopolis, a fable, in case you didn't know. They briefly stop time, admire Jon Voight's stiff arrow and discuss how INSANE the film is.

Later, Arron presents Sam a Jon Voight Hallmark Movie Quiz, the podcast gets interrupted by an incredibly intoxicated delivery driver who's at the wrong address and an embarrassing work story from Arron (gross).

11. "Cat People" (1942) & I HATE YOU 3000! (Ft. Daniel Houston)

ANOTHER PURR-FECT PODCAST EPISODE!

This week, the boys, alongside returning guest Daniel Houston (Comedian, liar, two-bit crook), sit down after an extremely long and eventful day to take a look at the 1942 Horror/Romance Cat People. They put their thinking cats on to discuss the film's complicated love triangle, a purr-perplexingly short shooting schedule and the cat-astrophic ending.

Later in the episode, the boys name and shame the dodgy celebrities who signed an awful petition, movie key-jangling and Arron places a verbal bet that Sam and Daniel heavily disagree with.

10. "Batman" (1966) & REBEL MOON RANT!

FRESHLY PARDONED!

This week, after being rightfully relieved of their "crimes" by the 46th President of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., Sam & Arron take a look at the campy, pow wallop-y? Batman (1966). The boys discuss where the best place to get rid of a bomb is, how much shark-repellent Bat-spray one should bring in their helicopter, Adam West's legacy and much more!

Later in the episode, Sam goes on a TYRAID of how much he dislikes Zach Synder's Rebel Moon and yells some nasty words at Arron which I'm told he didn't appreciate.

9. "Dr. Who and the Daleks" (1965) & DOG SITTING!

LIVE FROM SOME RANDOM WOMAN'S GAFF!

This week, whilst laying low from being on the run, Sam & Arron take a look at the obscure 1965 film "Dr. Who & the Daleks.", which, much like the boys, has no real reason to exist. We discuss the strange copyright legalities surrounding the film, the beautiful technicolor and some camping stories thrown into the mix too?

Later in the episode, the boys discuss yet again the appalling cinema etiquette plaguing the nation and overusing Dalek impressions.

Special thanks to Yasmin Janahi for the opening news recording!

8. "Mad Love" (1935) & PRISON BREAK!

LIVE FROM CURRENTLY ON THE RUN!

This week, Arron breaks Sam out of prison to take a look at the 1935 thriller "Mad Love", which, like many 1930s Hollywood films, includes a mad professor, alive wax figures, do-hickeys, witty quick-talking news reporters and ridiculous supernatural elements!

Later in the episode, the boys discuss the logistics of guns vs magic, underperforming box offices and North West's INCREDIBLE Lion King performance!

LIVE FROM JAIL!

This week, Sam & Arron prepare to get tingled as we take a look at William Castle's 1959 film "The Tingler."

The boys also explain their months-long absence, life-long podcasting contracts, Sam's arrest and prison sentence and bad modern-day theatre etiquette.

6. "Battle of the Bone" (2008) & Family Fortunes Fiasco (Ft. Daniel Houston)

BREAKING THE CODE FOR THE BONE!

This week, the boys (alongside special guest Daniel Houston (Podcaster/YouTuber/Owes me Money)) take a look at what can only be described as the GREATEST NORTHERN IRISH ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE MARTIAL ARTS FILM OF ALL TIME (probably because it's the only one) "Battle of the Bone". We sit down and discuss this cult classic, from piano-playing nurses to the literal end of sectarianism, this film has it all.

Later in the episode, the boys discuss the Oscars results, Arron gives his State of the Union speech on the subject matter of L.A.'s safety and the boys think back to figure out who was the host of Family Fortunes in the UK in 2006... We swear this is a film podcast.

LIVE FROM SCOTLAND!

This week, the boys take a look at 1951's "The Thing from Another World." We discuss some of the key characters like "Sniper's Dream" Douglas Spencer, to "John Thing" himself! We are also 100% truly faithfully honestly no lies live from Scotland this week!

In the General Yap section of the podcast the boys discover an impending lawsuit that is Club Orange vs Club Orange.

4. "Manos: The Hands of Fate" (1966) & I'm Just Ken L.A. Threat

I'M GOING TO FLY TO LOS ANGELES AND ****************

This week, the boys take a look at the WORST FILM EVER MADE. We suffer for your enjoyment as we are forced to watch the 70-minute nightmare that is the cult classic 1966 film Manos: The Hands of Fate. We hope you relish in our displeasure.

Later in the podcast, Sam and Arron yap about their 2024 Oscar Bet365 predictions... as well as what atrocity Arron has promised to commit if I'm Just Ken wins Best Original Song at the Academy Awards.

3. "Hellzapoppin'" (1941) & Wine Night

WE. ARE. DRUNK.

This week, the boys (along with a few drinks) sit down to watch the 1941 INSANE comedy/musical that is Hellzapoppin'. We quite frankly waffle for ages and then struggle to even describe the basic plot of the film, but it's still mildly enjoyable (probably). This also marks a historic episode in the Hay's Bro Code Podcast as we're FINALLY taking a look at a Code film, even though William Hays (loser) was definitely ASLEEP while approving this film.

Kevin Bacon lands a plane with EE Broadband?

This week, Sam and Arron look at James Whale's 1933 classic "The Invisible Man.". We delve into how funny the film is for nearly being 100 years old, as well as a random rant on Kevin Bacon's EE advert in which he lands an aeroplane using EE Wifi (which didn't happen).

SYNTHETIC FLESH!

This week, the boys take to the renowned film and entertainment streaming service known as FACEBOOK (because we couldn't find the film anywhere else) to watch Michael Curtiz's 1932 film "Doctor X". We talk about hand buzzers, synthetic flesh, ridiculous rogues galleries and our film theory that the main character is high for the entire film.

We also discuss The Hay's Code itself; what it entailed and what it prevented. Finally, some modern film news and chat involving the end of the DCEU, a Warner Bros. and Paramount potential merger, and David Lynch's INSANE requirements for playing John Ford in "The Fabelmans" (2022)
