Hey Happy Listeners! We have another 3D sound walk for you. In this episode, we take you on a tour of Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Renowned for its unique biodiversity, lush forests and astonishing beauty, walking through Monteverde's trails feels like being immersed in an explorer's dream.
We start our tour at 8:45 am, with the hopes of finding Quetzales, the national birds of Costa Rica. We walk for hours, finding a variety of curious insects, stealthy capuchin monkeys, and zooming humming birds. At the end of the day, and as we walked towards the exit, we hear the voice of a tour guide announcing the sighting of a Quetzal. We rush to his encounter, and through his telescope, we're able to enjoy a close-up of this magnificent bird. A magical ending to a restorative day connecting with nature.

Grab your headphones and join us for an immersive tour through Manuel Antonio National Park in Costa Rica! In this 3D binaural sound walk, we listened to coatis, howler monkeys, and diverse of tropical birds echoing through the rainforest. After a few hours of exploration under the lush trees, we arrived at Playas Gemelas, a beautiful, pristine beach in the South East end of the park. We indulged in a refreshing swim, listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks. This was, by far, one of our favourite beaches in Costa Rica and absolutely worth the hike.

In this very special episode, we will take you to the heart of the Khao Sok National Park. From the delightful accommodations at Our Jungle Camp Eco-Resort, we take a shuttle to Cheow Lan Lake. We take a long-tail boat and embark on a journey deep into the bright green lake, surrounded by limestone cliffs with lush tropical vegetation. After an hour and a half, we arrive at our floating cabins, greeted by the sounds of the birds. We go on a tour to meet the local wildlife and encounter a family of elephants taking a refreshing bath in the lake. After a long day, we go to bed, soothed by the smooth sway of the lake and the lullaby of the jungle. We wake up early the next morning, energized by the unique dawn chorus of Khao Sok's birds, cicadas, crickets and frogs.
