We speak to lifelong Brentford supporter, Season Ticket Holder at the GTech, and friend of the Pod, Tom Lloyd, to get the low down on Arsenal's latest expected recruit, Christain Norgaard.
We look at what type of player are we getting, what should we expect from him, how big of a loss to Brentford will he be, and much more. We also discuss how next season is shaping up for The Bees and how the loss of the Manager and key players will be managed.
Thanks again to Tom for coming onto the pod, it was a pleasure to have him on to discuss Christian as well as reminisce about our stewarding days at Griffin Park.

In this episode Tabs and Jamie get together to cast their eye over the 2025/26 fixtures; disappointed that we HAVE to play each team home and away rather than Sunderland every week.
Looking at a tricky start but hopeful for our less tricky finish, and decent schedule around the Champions League games.
We then discuss transfers and how the sagas and the non updates and non information is spoiling what used to be an exciting time, leading to an anticlimax whenever transfer are actually completed.
We then answer listener questions .... on topics covering the Berta's MO, timing of the striker transfer, Partey for one more year, Ange v Jose if Arteta was ill, Arsenal tropes, fighting silver back gorillas and horse sized ducks and much more.....

It's the off-season and Tabs and Kuziva are on hand to take a look at Arsenal's current (nearly) transfer business, various rumours and who else has or has not been doing what. We're not one's for head loss, but Berta and his £1000 belt better be at the Club shop printing out Rodrygo, Sesko and Zubimendi shirts pretty soon otherwise there will be pitchforks at dawn.
We then take a look at our potential squad depth for next season, discussing what squad depth actually means, who could we sell, where we could do with a little more and where we seem to be in pretty good shape.
An interesting chat and review; we are in good shape but also it's obvious where we need to do business. See if you agree.

It's a fond farewell to fans' favourite Kieran Tierney, who signs of his Arsenal career with a fine goal to help Arsenal secure a record winning final game of the season win against Southampton.
Tabs and Jamie are on hand to discuss the various talking points from the game, including KT's record at the Club, Calafiori's injury and a round of guess who is playing in what position? We then do our end of season review and awards as we go through:
- Overall season review
- Did $purs have a better season than Arsenal?
- Highlight of the season
- Lowlight of the season
- Goal of the season
- Match of the season
- Red card of the season (MOTD Style)
- Injury that had the biggest impact on our season
- Players that surprised us the most
- Most disappointing player
- Player of the season
Lots to get through and was quite a lot of fun to relive the highs and lows of what has been a season of some brilliant moments rather than any real overall success.

The Grove Podcast is celebrating both it's 100th episode and beating Newcastle to qualify for the Champions League next season and pretty much sure up 2nd spot. Tabs is joined by Jamie on this special episode to talk through a game which was unnecessarily important and where all that mattered was the result. All in all quite a tense game, low in quality, but with moments from Raya and Rice that made the difference and edged it for Arsenal. We also have fun chatting about Calafiori, twatting the ball from long distance, Arteta's post math speech and hope for the future. We finish the pod laughing at Tottenham again and previewing a match that really and properly does not matter (barring some unprecedented Premier League GD turnaround), when we take on Southampton on the final day of the season.
We would like to say thanks to all of you that have listened over the last year and half since we started with our first pod being the 5-0 win against Crystal Palace, post Dubai. We’ve loved doing it I hope you’ve enjoyed listening to it too. We really appreciate you listenership and the interactions we’ve had with you online and in person. It’s also given us the chance to meet and get to know people from other Arsenal podcasts and in the Arsenal online community which has been really cool. Finally we also wanted to say a big thanks to all those from The Grove that have contributed in the past be it on the pod or with getting the pod out into the world and into your ears…..the likes of Whale, Tom, Chi, Sorn, Senzi, (apologies if I have forgotten anyone) then there’s the current crew of Kuziva, Jamie, Ian and then there’s Dawit (who does great work behind the scenes helping me with the socials)…and of course Mos who’s brainchild this all was back at the beginning and without whom we wouldn’t be here. SO thank you all for listening and here’s to the next 100 episodes.

In this special episode we talk to Senzi, from The Grove, about her experience at Arsenal's recent open training session at the Emirates, and what an experience is was. Senzi was one of a chosen few who got onto the pitch and to take part in the training session, meeting the players and generally "Fan-Girling"; she is still very much in shock!
She tells us all about being up close an personal with the likes of Ethan, Miles, Martin and Bukayo, what it's like to stand in the middle of The Carpet and how serious yet nice everyone is.
We end the show with a preview of the all important game against Newcastle at the weekend, where both teams will be vying for 2nd place and guaranteed Champions League football next season.
BTW: Sound quality not great up to min 6 and thereafter all good.

Arsenal show character to come back from 2-0 down to draw away to Liverpool, and there's a surprising amount to talk about given the relative importance of this game. Tabs is joined by Stef from @NorthBankPod for a doozy of an episode as we discuss the mood at Anfield home and away, why it was an important result, our character, Arteta's happiness, bad half / good half, TAA boo boys, dirty Arsenal and why losing 20 matches is a a deal breaker when it comes to having a better season. It's a sad day for Gooners around the world as Arsenal's Champions League dream was ended by PSG. It was a tie of fine margins, missed chances and outstanding goalkeeping, where Arsenal's current limitations were exposed and things that just didn't go our way,. With our cups half full Tabs is joined by Ian (aka @ArseCannonPics) to pick through the game and reflect on the Champions League campaign as a whole before turning half an eye onto the weekend with a preview of Liverpool away; a game that we need to face with pride and is going to be a challenge for players and fans alike.

The Bournemouth game was a perfect encapsulation of our season. A depleted squad, not scoring enough, playing on the margins, some good football and some awful football, dropping points from winning position, conceding from set pieces and VAR incompetence, and in general making life difficult for ourselves when we have the chance to do the opposite. But we're just going to have to put the Bournemouth game to one side for now as it really is all about PSG and getting to Munich.
The OGs are back together as Tabs is joined, after a very long hiatus, by Mos to discuss the highs and lows from the Bournemouth game, Odegaard's form and, Rice's importance to the Team, our inability to score, and what happens when players minds are elsewhere and what it means for a Tope 5 finish. We then look ahead to the 2nd leg v PSG with hope and expectation that we can do the job and reach the Champions League Final. Tabs will be there … can Mos get a ticket?

It's advantage PSG in the UCL Champions League Semi-Final, but it's still only half time and we are very much still in it. Jamie and Tabs are on hand to talk through what started out as a party at the Emirates which then very quickly had all the balloons popped. We discuss the atmosphere, the quality of PSG, the impact of Partey missing, where we went wrong, what might have been, how good MLS is and the reaction to the performance and result. We also try to understand what is going wrong with Odegaard and what we can be done about it, before looking ahead to the game nobody has any appetite for, Bournemouth on Saturday early evening.
